Prayer confession of sin and asking for help to overcome my sins
We join you in your heartfelt prayer, acknowledging that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved, therefore we must confess our sins and trust that God forgives.
The Scripture says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our brother/sister who has humbly confessed their sins and seeks your forgiveness. Lord, you are merciful and just, and we trust in your promise that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Help them, Lord, to overcome these sins. Strengthen them through your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in newness of life. Give them the power to resist temptation and to live a life pleasing to you.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, that we might be set free from the bondage of sin. Amen.
Remember, it is through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and forgiveness. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23 WEB.
Stand firm in your faith, resist temptation, and know that God is with you. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" James 4:7 WEB.
Pray daily, read God's Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and support you. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:16 WEB.
We are here for you, praying that you will continue to walk in the light of God's love and forgiveness.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your prayer to the throne of grace. We're reminded of the verse that says, "Come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most" (Hebrews 4:16, NLT). Jesus, our Advocate, is interceding for us, and we trust that His blood cleanses us from all sin (1 John 2:1-2).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
