God bless U. It is good to examine ourselves even to see our foundation. Some people just go through the motion & go through the ritual of church going & never had an encounter with Jesus. Yes, the Son of the living God.
So how can one be truly satisfied?
Eph 2:8 For it is by free grace that you are saved through faith. And this is not of yourself, but it is a gift from God. V.9 Not because of good works lest anyone should boast.
###, we can never outdo God's sacrifice. If we think we have, then we don't need Him.
Now we are of Adam's descent (born into sin through Adam). Adam cannot redeem himself, neither can we.
Our redemption, salvation is through Jesus, alone. Adam brought death, but Jesus brought life and eternal life. Jesus is the spiritual Adam, for what Adam (we) could not accomplish as a man, Jesus the Son of man, the Son of God accomplished in the flesh.
Jesus represents humanity in its fullest. He was, is, and the perfect man. He is the mediator between God and man. He is the Lamb of God. Not through saints, not through any dead person but through Jesus.
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. John 10:1 Jesus said, "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way is a thief."
John 14:6 Jesus said, "I am the Way, I am the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by Me. There should never be any dead, or living person between you and Jesus. Only Jesus alone. Any other thing between you and Jesus is IDOLATRY.
###, what is our Heavenly Father's desire for us? Roman 8:29 ...For those whom He foreknew, He also destined from the beginning to be molded into the image of His Son.... (We once having the nature of Adam, the old man, God is saying to have the nature of Jesus, the nature of Christ the anointed one. So we must be born again to enter into that kingdom. We must be born by the Spirit of God.
So Father, I thank You, and bless You, I worship You for You are a loving God enabling us to come to You through your Son Jesus. I thank You again for sending Your Son Jesus, even being incarnate, partaking flesh and blood to identify with us and our suffering. I bless You for I know that You are working in ###'s life to bring her into your marvelous light in Jesus. Her desire is for Christ and to experience Jesus into her life. I know it is your Holy Spirit stirring her up to come to the reality of Jesus. She wants the best, and it is Jesus. I thank You for You are going to make that real in her life in Jesus' name.
Say this prayer, Father, I thank You for blessing me today. I want to be in your presence 24 hours a day. I desire You and put You first in my life. I confess my sins of unbelief to You. I want to experience Jesus in my life. I want Jesus to be my Savior, for I accept Him as Lord in my life now.
