Help me please

Jesus please forgive me of my sins and thank you for my life. I claim victory because I know you are the victor. My check didn't come and my bills are due. I am on disability and the caseworker purposely had been making it a difficult process. Now bills are due and my savings has to be used. Then I found black mold in my closet, baseboards, and around bottom of my shower. I now need to get a plumber here and remediation team. My deductible is too high so I have to pay out if pocket. I need a monetary miracle. Then, I have a colonscopy tomorrow that requires sedation. However both people canceled and now I have no one to go with me. The doctor will not do the procedure without sedation even though it can be done without. I always show up and help everyone. However no one ever helps me. Now I have to cancel the appointment. Jesus I need you to work things out for me. I know you can turn all these situations around. Please do it for me and thank you so much.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in faith, lifting every burden to the Lord. Your acknowledgment of Jesus as your Savior and Victor is the foundation of our prayer, for in Him alone is true victory found. We rejoice that you have turned to Him in repentance and gratitude, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Your trust in His provision is not in vain, for He cares deeply for you and promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister in Christ, who is facing overwhelming challenges. Lord, You see every detail of their struggle, the financial strain, the uncooperative caseworker, the mold in their home, the canceled medical procedure, and the loneliness of feeling unsupported. We ask You to move mightily on their behalf. Provide the financial miracle they need, Lord. Open doors no one can shut, and soften the heart of the caseworker to act with justice and compassion. Guide them to wise and affordable solutions for the mold remediation, and surround them with people who can assist practically and prayerfully.

We rebuke the spirit of isolation and abandonment in Jesus' name. You have promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim that promise over their life. Raise up godly individuals to stand with them, especially for the colonoscopy. Father, touch the hearts of those who can help, and if it is Your will, provide a way for the procedure to proceed safely and without delay. We trust in Your healing power, for by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Lord, we also pray for peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Strength. Help them to cast every anxiety on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that this season of lack and hardship will not define them, but rather, it will be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith to wait on You, knowing that those who wait for You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, even when circumstances seem impossible. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but remember that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church or Christian community for practical support. Many believers are eager to help when they know of a need. You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will turn these trials into triumphs for His glory. Keep pressing into Him, for He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We hear the weight of all that’s hitting at once, and especially the ache of showing up for others only to feel empty-handed when you need someone. That’s a lonely place, and it makes today’s pile of troubles feel even heavier.

The colonoscopy is right in front of you. Even though the two people canceled, please don’t give up on it yet. Call the doctor’s office this morning and be honest about what happened, ask if they have a medical escort service, whether a nurse can accompany you through discharge, or if rescheduling quickly is possible. Sometimes clinics have safety-net arrangements we don’t know about until we ask. It’s worth that one phone call.

We’re also thinking of Elijah, exhausted and hiding in a cave, so sure he was utterly alone. God didn’t scold him; He fed him, let him rest, and then spoke in a gentle whisper. He sees you standing in front of that moldy closet and sitting with the stack of bills, and He hasn’t stepped away.

The mold and the finances are real. Take them one at a time as you can, maybe a call to your insurance about any flexibility, or exploring where your area offers emergency help for home repairs. But right now, we simply want to carry this with you in prayer.

Jesus, you see the chronic stress and the loneliness pressing in. We ask you to clear a path: a way to get to the procedure safely, provision for the bills and the repairs, and a small sign that this person is not forgotten. Surround them with your peace, steady their heart, and show up in the practical help they need today. In your name, amen.

You cry to the Lord for a monetary miracle, for deliverance from the sudden plague of mold, for a companion in your time of sickness, and you cry in anguish because those you have helped now turn away. Yet remember, the power of Christ to save and to help does not lie in you, nor in the faithfulness of friends, but wholly in Himself. When the disciples saw the hungry multitude, they considered not the miracle of the loaves; they forgot that the hand which multiplied bread can multiply silver and time, can send a helper at the very last hour, can make the mold to be a means of unexpected provision. The Lord Jesus is not limited by the meanness of your savings or the hardness of a caseworker’s heart. He is mighty to save, and He can work all these things together for your good as swiftly as you can plead.

You say, “I always show up and help everyone, yet no one ever helps me.” Let your eyes be turned from the failing of man to the faithfulness of God. He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” The love of Christ is a medicine that heals every bitter wound; no heart however like granite can long resist it. That same love has already delivered your soul from the pit of corruption, and if He has done that eternal miracle, will He not clothe the lily and feed the sparrow of your temporal need? The woman bent double could in no wise lift herself up until Jesus called her, and then she stood straight. So your circumstances, bent low by debt and fear of sickness, will be lifted when you look only to Him.

Do not despair of the colonoscopy. The Lord who calmed the sea can calm a doctor’s heart or send a companion in the eleventh hour. But if it must be delayed, trust that He who numbers the hairs of your head has numbered also the days of your health. You shall have more than you actually need, not workhouse fare, but meat indeed. Rest now in the promise that no supposable dangers, no imaginable troubles, no conceivable difficulties can separate you from His care. The miracle of grace that first turned your soul to Him is the pledge of every smaller mercy. Be not afraid, only believe.

Do not seek a miracle as the only sign of God's love. John the Baptist did no miracle, yet he drew whole cities to himself by his boldness and his life. What greater wonder is there than a soul that endures hardship without wavering? Job lost everything, yet his endurance was firmer than any adamant, and the devil stood amazed. Your faith in Christ the victor is already that kind of miracle.

It is painful when those we have helped abandon us in return, but Christ himself often withdrew alone, letting human passions subside. He did not cling to human support. The colonoscopy may be postponed, but consider: even if no one goes with you, the Lord is present. The apostles wrought signs only after fear came upon them and they stood with one accord. Boldness in the face of trial is a greater work than any physical healing.

I see you carrying many burdens like a house on fire. But remember, the conflagration that consumes a building often reveals what is truly solid. This trial, if you receive it with thanksgiving, can burn away self-pity and vainglory. For what is that thought, “I help everyone, but no one helps me,” if not a spark of pride? Let it be quenched. John was imprisoned and beheaded, yet that suffering only made his witness shine brighter. All that he spoke of Christ was true, not because he worked wonders, but because his life testified.

So do not be cast down. Perhaps the check will come, the mold will be remedied at little cost, or a friend will appear at the last hour. But if not, then the Spirit is working a deeper miracle in you. Christ did not prevent his servants from facing chains and need; instead he made their very endurance the proof of his power. The Church is not built of comfort, but of gold and silver tried in fire. You claim victory in Jesus; then live that victory by patience. What is done in our lives is the work of the Holy Ghost, and his work is your eternal good.

Your words echo the cry of many in Scripture who faced overwhelming trials and yet clung to the solid truth that Jesus is Lord. You have already done the most important thing: you have confessed your need for forgiveness and placed your hope entirely in Him. That is the greatest miracle of all, a heart turned from self-sufficiency to Christ. No check, no plumber, no procedure can compare to the eternal security you already possess in Him.

It can feel as if God’s answer is a black stone when we pull it from the bag. The caseworker stalls, the mold spreads, the rides fall through. We ask for a clear yes, and we seem to get a silent no. But remember that the same Lord who let Lazarus lie in the tomb until the fourth day was not ignoring grief; He was planning a greater revelation of His power. The delay was not denial. When everyone else had canceled, Jesus walked into that scene and called a dead man out. He is not bound by human helpers or bank balances. He can send a raven with bread, or a widow with a last handful of flour, or a stranger to sit in a waiting room for you.

You say you always show up for others and no one helps you now. That stings, and I will not minimize it. Job knew what it was to sit in the ash heap, his skin blackened and his comforters more like torturers. Yet God was not absent. He was watching, He was limiting the trial, and at the end He restored double. Your faithfulness unseen by people is not unseen by Him. Every time you have helped someone else, you were lending to the Lord. He will repay. Do not grow weary in doing good.

The black mold, the drained savings, the looming test, these are like a mountainside of black goats that look bleak from a distance, but the Bridegroom sees them differently. To Him they are part of a larger beauty, a tapestry you cannot yet trace. That which seems decay and loss can become the very place where His provision shines brightest. He fed a hundred men with a single offering of bread and grain. He opened blind eyes with mud. He does not need favorable conditions to work.

Take heart in this: you have already claimed victory because Jesus is the victor. That is not a feeling; it is a fact. Do not cancel your trust when you cancel the appointment. If you must reschedule, do so with confidence that even this seeming setback is a divine appointment. Ask Him quietly, “Lord, do You want me to move forward or wait?” He will guide, not with stones in a pouch but by His Spirit and His Word. He may yet provide a companion before tomorrow. If not, He may have another path for your health.

Stand firm. The same miracle-working God who split the sea and rose from the grave walks with you into every flooded closet and every empty recovery room. He is enough.
