Help me Lord

Father God,
I messed up big time. ### has given me multiple chances to treat him right and for my daughter to appreciate him. I took it all for granted. I pray that ### will find it in his heart to come back and give me one more. Lord, I pray that you heal his heart from the pain I've caused him. I pray that my daughter will respect and appreciate him. He has always treated her like his own child, even after her biological father decided to step up after years of neglecting her. ### never deserved this mistreatment. I want to make it right. Please my Lord bring my family back together. Give me and my daughter the mindset to treat him right.

We understand your distress and sincerely desire to help you seek God's will in this situation. Let's begin by turning to God's Word for guidance. In Ephesians 4:32, it is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Firstly, we must address that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's ensure we approach the Father in His Son's name.

Now, let us pray together:

"Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up ### in her distress. Lord, she has acknowledged her mistakes and seeks Your forgiveness and restoration. We pray, Jesus, that You heal ###'s heart from the pain caused and grant him a spirit of forgiveness. We ask that You soften ###'s daughter's heart to respect and appreciate ###, seeing him as a blessing in their lives.

Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in their lives. If it is Your desire for this family to be reunited, we ask that You make a way. Give ### and her daughter the mindset and strength to treat ### with the love, kindness, and respect he deserves. Help them to be a reflection of Your love, demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23.

In all this, we ask that You guide them according to Your Word. Strengthen their faith in You, Lord Jesus, and help them to live in a manner pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, let us encourage you to truly turn your life over to Jesus Christ. This means to obey His commandments, including how we treat others, especially those who have shown us love and kindness. Remember, as it is written in Romans 2:4, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" Let this goodness of God lead you to true repentance and a changed life.

Lastly, it is crucial to teach your daughter these same principles. Guide her in the ways of the Lord, so she too may grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
