Dear Loed Jesus, Please, Help Me Confess to my employer that I lied. I was just working a little over the time just a little bit. You are allowed to clock in three minutes late and I just wanted to help with the dishes because zookeepers are always overloaded so I decided to help them I went well, but I did something also not so good so please help me find a way and please let me be OK.. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and guidance in this situation. Confession is indeed a brave and necessary step when we have strayed from the truth, for Scripture tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The Lord sees your desire to do what is right, and He will honor your honesty before Him and before your employer.

First, let us address the matter of dishonesty. Even small lies, whether about time worked or other matters, grieve the heart of God, for He is a God of truth. Proverbs 12:22 says, *"Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight."* While your intention to help your coworkers was noble, the deception—even if small—was not aligned with God’s will. The Lord calls us to integrity in all things, whether in our work, our words, or our dealings with others. We must remember that our witness as believers is at stake, for Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*

Now, let us pray together for you in this moment of conviction and repentance:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has come to You in confession. Lord, You know the sincerity of their heart and their desire to walk in truth. We ask that You grant them courage and wisdom as they prepare to speak with their employer. Give them the right words to say, and let their confession be marked by humility and a genuine desire to make things right. Father, we know that You are faithful to forgive when we come to You in repentance. Cleanse them of this sin, Lord, and restore their spirit. Help them to see this as an opportunity to grow in integrity and to honor You in their workplace. We also pray for their employer, that You would soften their heart and grant them understanding and grace. May this situation be used for Your glory, Lord, and may our brother/sister emerge from it with a stronger testimony of Your faithfulness. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

As you prepare to confess, consider these steps:
1. **Pray for the Right Timing and Words** – Ask the Lord to guide your conversation. Proverbs 16:23 says, *"The heart of the wise instructs his mouth, and adds learning to his lips."* Trust that God will give you the words to speak.
2. **Take Responsibility** – Own your actions fully, without making excuses. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."*
3. **Be Willing to Accept Consequences** – Confession may come with repercussions, but trust that God will use this for your good. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."*
4. **Seek Reconciliation** – If your actions affected others, be willing to make amends. Matthew 5:23-24 says, *"If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."*

Lastly, remember that this moment of conviction is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in your life. The fact that you feel compelled to confess is a sign of God’s grace drawing you back to Him. Do not let shame or fear hold you back, for *"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). The Lord is ready to forgive and restore you, and He will walk with you through this process.

We encourage you to also examine your heart for any other areas where integrity may have been compromised, whether in your work, relationships, or personal life. Ask the Lord to reveal anything that does not align with His truth, and commit to walking in honesty and transparency moving forward. May this experience deepen your faith and draw you closer to the Lord, who is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

We're right there with you, friend. It's brave of you to seek the Lord's help in confessing this to your employer. We believe that honesty is the best way to honor God, and He will honor your honesty. Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today, lifting up our friend who desires to make things right. Lord, You know their heart and their desire to walk in truth. We ask that You give them the courage and wisdom to speak with their employer. Help them to find the right words to say, and let their confession be marked by humility and a genuine desire to make things right. Father, we know that You are faithful to forgive when we come to You in repentance. Cleanse them, Lord, and restore their spirit. Help them to see this as an opportunity to grow in integrity and to honor You in their workplace. We also pray for their employer, that You would soften their heart and grant them understanding and grace. May this situation be used for Your glory, Lord, and may our friend emerge from it with a stronger testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, as you prepare to confess, remember these steps:

1. **Pray for the Right Timing and Words** - Trust that God will give you the words to speak. Proverbs 16:23 says, "The heart of the wise instructs his mouth, and adds learning to his lips."

2. **Take Responsibility** - Own your actions fully, without making excuses. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, "He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."

3. **Be Willing to Accept Consequences** - Trust that God will use this for your good. Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

4. **Seek Reconciliation** - If your actions affected others, be willing to make amends. Matthew 5:23-24 says, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."

Lastly, remember that this moment of conviction is a sign of God's grace drawing you back to Him. Don't let shame or fear hold you back. The Lord is ready to forgive and restore you. Trust in His love and grace. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this deeply personal burden, and we have been lifting you before the throne of grace these past days. Confession is never easy, especially when it feels like the truth could bring consequences—but we know that walking in integrity before both God and man is the path to true peace. We have prayed specifically that the Holy Spirit would give you the right words, the right moment, and the courage to speak with humility and honesty to your employer. We asked the Lord to soften hearts, to open doors for restoration, and to remind you that His love is not earned by perfection but received by faith in Jesus.

If the Lord has already provided an opportunity for you to confess and you’ve experienced His grace in the aftermath, we would love to hear how He worked! Your praise report could encourage others who are wrestling with similar struggles. If the moment hasn’t yet come—or if fear or uncertainty still lingers—please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We will continue to stand with you, praying for wisdom, protection, and the assurance that God’s forgiveness is already yours through Christ.

May the Lord bless you with His presence as you seek to honor Him in this situation. We trust that He is already at work, turning even this difficult step into a testimony of His faithfulness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
