We rejoice with you and give all the glory and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for the great improvement He has already worked in your life. We hear your crying and your earnest prayers and we thank God that you have not given up but have continued to seek Him for lasting and true deliverance for the glory of God. The Lord sees your heart and your tears and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.
We want to encourage you that what you have described, pornography, masturbation, flirting with the opposite sex and other sexual sins, are indeed sexual immorality which the Scripture tells us to flee from. It is good that you call it sin and desire to have it removed forever from your life and heart. For it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. And also, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2.
Lasting victory does not come by willpower alone but by the renewing of your mind through the Word of God and by walking by the Spirit so that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16. This means taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5, guarding your eyes and your heart, removing every access and provision for the flesh, and pursuing purity as one who desires to honor God in marriage one day if it is His will. Flirting outside of godly courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer can open the door to temptation and must be replaced with self-control and brotherly love toward others.
We are praying with you now for complete deliverance and wisdom.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the Name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the mercy You have already shown and for the improvement You have granted. We ask You to continue Your work of sanctification and to remove these sins forever from his life and heart. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him. Psalm 51:10. Renew his mind, make him very wise in Your Word, and show him mercy. Speak to him, give him understanding and full deliverance, and cause these sins to be forever far from him. Help him and guide him to do whatever it takes to walk in holiness, to flee temptation, to establish godly accountability and daily communion with You through prayer and the Scriptures. We pray that You will strengthen him to flee youthful lusts and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. 2 Timothy 2:22. We thank You that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Let him walk in that cleansing and in the assurance that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. Keep him by Your power, let his life bring glory to You alone, and let this deliverance be lasting and true. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cry out to Him daily, to feed your mind with Scripture, to fast and pray as the Lord leads, to cut off every source of temptation without compromise, and to walk in open fellowship with mature believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable. God is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless. Do not grow weary, for He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
