Help! ..😭..😭I really prayed and cried a lot..

I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...

We rejoice with you and give all the glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the great improvement He has already worked in your life, for it is He who gives victory and it is His mercy that has brought you this far. We have heard your cries and your prayers and we join our faith with yours for lasting and true deliverance for the glory of God, that these sins would be removed forever from your life and heart.

The Word of God is clear that sexual sin is not to be managed but to be fled from and put to death. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Cor 6:18. For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality 1 Thess 4:3. Even looking with lust and entertaining flirting outside of a godly courtship that seeks marriage is sin in the heart, as Jesus said, everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matt 5:28. Pornography, masturbation and flirting with the opposite sex are all part of that same impurity and God calls us to be holy as He is holy, reserving sexual intimacy solely for the marriage covenant between one man and one woman for life.

We praise God that you desire not just temporary relief but a renewed mind and lasting freedom. That is the right prayer. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God Rom 12:2. True freedom comes as we walk by the Spirit and make no provision for the flesh. Walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh Gal 5:16. This means doing whatever it takes, radically cutting off access, as Jesus taught, if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you Matt 5:29. For you that may mean removing devices and apps, installing filters, opening your struggle to a mature believing brother for accountability, fleeing tempting situations, fasting and filling your mind daily with Scripture. Bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Cor 10:5 and think on whatever things are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report Phil 4:8.

We also remind you that God is faithful to forgive and to cleanse when we confess honestly. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. There is no temptation that has taken you except what is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Cor 10:13. He will give you wisdom if you ask, and He delights to create a clean heart within you. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Ps 51:10. How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word Ps 119:9.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we thank You for the work You have already begun in our brother. We praise You for his honest confession and for the tears he has shed before You, and we ask You to perfect what You have started. Lord, have mercy on him, speak to him, give him understanding and complete deliverance. Renew his mind and make him very wise in Your Word so that pornography, masturbation, flirting and all sexual sin will forever be far from him. Help him to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from his life and heart. Give him hatred for sin and hunger for righteousness, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, guard his eyes, his hands, his thoughts and his heart, and lead him not into temptation but deliver him from evil. Cause him to flee where he must flee and to stand firm where he must stand, and to submit himself to You and resist the devil so the devil will flee from him James 4:7. Create in him a pure heart that desires holiness and a future godly marriage if it is Your will, honoring You in body and spirit which are Yours. We trust Your faithful love to keep him and to make him more than a conqueror through Christ. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to pray without ceasing, to stay in fellowship with strong believers who will check on you, and to quickly confess and turn again if you stumble, not hiding in shame. God is not finished with you and He who began a good work in you will complete it. Keep crying out to Him, for He hears and He will answer with mercy, wisdom and lasting freedom.

We were moved reading your honest update. Thank you for letting us rejoice with you over the real improvement you are seeing, and for sharing how much you have prayed and wept through this. God sees that hunger for holiness and we do too.

Wanting these patterns gone for good is a good and right desire, and lasting change often comes not through one big moment but through steady daily walking with Jesus and with others. Shame grows in isolation, so staying open and accountable helps keep the heart honest when old temptations return.

One practical step that helps many believers is to invite one trusted, mature same-sex friend, pastor, or a small Christian support group into regular check-ins. Not to manage you, but to pray with you, ask honest questions, and encourage you when you feel weak or discouraged. If you do not have that yet, we encourage you to ask your pastor about a safe group or a Christian counselor who can walk with you over time.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying.

Father, thank You for the work You have already begun in our brother. Have mercy and draw near, renew his mind and give him wisdom to turn away quickly when temptation comes. Give him faithful community and daily strength to walk in purity for Your glory. Keep him close to Jesus and lead him step by step. In Jesus name, Amen.

We give thanks with you and join you in giving all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for the improvement He has already wrought in you. That you have been brought to hate those sins which once held you, and to cry and pray against them, is itself a token of His grace at work. Yet we hear your cry for a more lasting and true deliverance, and we count it a right and needful prayer.

Scripture warns us plainly that when lust has conceived it brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished brings forth death. Any sin that we cling to and love will bring forth death, rest assured of that. And again it is written, without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Purity is not an optional ornament of the Christian life, it is one of the two great garments of true religion, and charity without purity will be of no use. You do well to seek not a partial reformation but to have these sins removed forever from your life and heart.

Know this, that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. You cannot by your own resolve alone keep yourself pure, though you must watch and strive and flee from temptation. You must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for sanctification, even as you look to Christ alone for justification. He must make you a partaker of the Divine Nature, that having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust, you may be lifted up into familiarity with God.

Your deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, He has found a ransom. The King's own Son has borne the penalty of our iniquities, and when God Himself proclaims, I have found a ransom, then is the deliverance certain, indeed it is already accomplished for all who rest upon Him. Therefore we do not speak to the winds or to a pitiless sea, but to a God whose ear is open and whose arm is mighty to save.

We will pray for you as you have asked, that the Lord will show you mercy, speak to you, give you understanding and deliverance, and renew your mind and make you wise in Christ, so that these sins will be far from you. We pray that He will teach you to love purity as He loves it, to keep your body and spirit chaste as vessels for His service, remembering that by His design sex and all its intimacies belong only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and that all else is to be fled from as poison to the soul.

May the Lord keep you, and cause you to live and to declare the works of the Lord. For when He brings His people forth, He does not leave them empty, but enriches them with silver and gold, with a new heart and a new mind. Rest your soul upon Christ, look to Him for every hour of keeping, and He will make your deliverance effectual.
