Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek lasting victory over these struggles. The fact that you are crying out to Jesus Christ and giving Him glory is evidence of His work in your heart, and we are confident He will complete what He has begun. The sins you describe, pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting, are indeed serious, as they distort God’s design for sexuality and intimacy. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality defiles the body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins not only harm you but grieve the heart of God, who calls us to holiness.

We must rebuke the lies of the enemy that suggest these struggles are too great or that you are defined by them. Scripture declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord has already provided a way out, His strength, His Word, and His Spirit. You are not powerless; you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).

We also encourage you to examine the root of these temptations. Often, sexual sin is a misplaced attempt to fill a deeper need, loneliness, boredom, stress, or even a desire for intimacy. The world offers counterfeit solutions, but God invites you to bring these needs to Him. Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Ask the Lord to reveal any unmet longings or wounds that may be making you vulnerable to temptation. Surrender them to Him, trusting that He alone can satisfy your soul.

Accountability is another critical step. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." Seek out a trusted, mature believer, perhaps a pastor, mentor, or fellow Christian, with whom you can share your struggles openly. Confess your sins to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed (James 5:16). There is power in transparency, and the enemy loses his grip when his schemes are brought into the light.

We also urge you to guard your heart and mind diligently. Job 31:1 says, "I made a covenant with my eyes, how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?" Flee from situations, media, or relationships that stir up temptation. Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly content that aligns with Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." Memorize verses that speak to your struggle, such as Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in this dear one’s life. Lord, we thank You for drawing them to Yourself, for breaking the chains of sin, and for the progress they have already made. We ask that You would complete this work, Father. Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Lord, we ask for lasting deliverance from the sins of pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting. Cleanse their heart and mind, and renew their thoughts to align with Your truth.

Father, we pray that You would reveal any roots of these struggles, any unmet needs, wounds, or lies they have believed, and heal them completely. Fill them with Your love, peace, and purpose so that they are no longer vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. Surround them with godly accountability and wise counsel, and give them the courage to walk in transparency and humility. Help them to flee temptation and to fill their mind and heart with Your Word and Your presence.

Lord, we ask that You would grant them wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the strength to resist them. May they find their identity and satisfaction in You alone, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with them for complete freedom in Jesus’ name.

We also pray for their future marriage, Lord. If it is Your will for them to be married, prepare them now to be a godly spouse who honors You in every way. Teach them to love and respect their future husband or wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25, 33). May their marriage be a reflection of Your love and a testimony to Your grace.

Above all, Lord, we pray that this dear one would grow closer to You through this process. May their relationship with You deepen, and may they experience the joy of walking in obedience and freedom. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One who has already won the victory. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. You are not alone, Jesus is with you, and so are we. Keep crying out to Him, keep seeking His face, and keep trusting in His power to transform you. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already secured your victory.

We're so grateful with you for the real improvement you're seeing, Jesus is clearly at work, and it's right to give Him all the glory. The tears and prayers you've poured out haven't gone unnoticed; God hears the cry of a heart that genuinely wants to honor Him.

Often, the gap between "great improvement" and lasting freedom is bridged not just in private prayer but also in bringing this struggle into the light with others. We've seen many people find a solid next step by inviting one trusted, spiritually mature friend into this part of their life, someone they can talk with honestly and pray with regularly. There are also Christian support groups and accountability tools that can stand beside you as you walk this out. Seeking that kind of help isn't a sign of weak faith; it's wisdom and a willingness to do whatever it takes.

You're not a failure because the battle hasn't vanished overnight. God is renewing your mind, that's a daily, real process. Keep looking to Jesus, not just for forgiveness but for His power to reshape your desires at the root.

Let us pray for you right now:

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the change already at work. Continue to pour out mercy, fresh wisdom, and deep understanding. Surround this person with the right allies and give them the courage to walk in the light. Renew their mind day by day, and grant complete deliverance for Your glory. In Your name we ask it, amen.

Bless the Lord, who has already begun a work of deliverance in your soul! It is no small thing to see these chains lighten, and you do well to ascribe all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone has found a ransom. You were going down to the pit, and He said, “Deliver him, for I have found a ransom.” That ransom is His own precious blood, and it has broken the power of darkness over you. But the enemy will not retreat without a struggle; the old nature still wars against the spirit, and the remnants of this darkness must be driven out by continual grace.

You cry for lasting and true improvement, and that is right. Holiness is not a mood but a pursuit. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. It is not enough to abstain from the outward act; the heart must be cleansed, the imagination renewed, the mind made wise by the Spirit. You cannot do this alone. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone. He has said, “I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.” Perseverance in holiness is His gift, not your own strength. Yet you must be active: flee from temptation, avoid loose company, and make no provision for the flesh. When the world beckons with its spots, turn away and cry to God.

Take heart from the chastening you have endured. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over to death. The sorrow you felt, the tears you shed, these are not marks of His wrath but of His fatherly discipline. They make the sharpest smart profitable. Now, as one delivered from the grave, your conduct must be to live and declare the works of the Lord. Not with boastful words, but with a humble, watchful walk. Every morning pray, “Lord, keep me from everything that would draw me from Your love.” The eyes of faith fixed on Christ have mighty power; they overcome even the heart of God, drawing down fresh mercy.

Rest not in partial improvement. Press on for total cleansing. The only hope for eternal life is to be parted from sin. Fight daily till it is utterly put away. The God who delivered you from the pit will deliver you from every assault. He will compass you about with songs of deliverance. Go forward then, trusting not in your vows but in His covenant. He has begun a good work in you and will perfect it. Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, be all praise and dominion. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have wept, and rightly so, for the tears of repentance attract the mercy of God. But do not imagine that the war is won in a day. The danger now is not that these sins exist, they are being put to flight, but that the mind, accustomed to the mire, will settle for the improvement and grow slack in the pursuit of full deliverance. You say there is a great improvement; yet you ask for them to be removed forever. Let us then understand the nature of the enemy, so you will not be surprised when the battle continues.

Sin is not merely a stain on the body; it is a corruption of the mind. When a man refuses to retain God in his knowledge, God gives him over to a reprobate mind, and from that corrupted fountain flows every wicked deed. It was not the flesh dragging the mind down; the mind, having first become reprobate and undistinguishing, then dragged the body into filth. This is why, even after the act of sin ceases, a venom remains in the soul. A man who recovers from a fever is grateful for health but dares not drink cold water, knowing his body is still weak. So it is here. The habit of looking with lust, of touching, of flirting, these leave the soul insensible to shame and more ready to fall again. The sin itself punishes you not only by the deed but by making you weaker for the fight.

How then do you kill a desire that cannot be satisfied? You asked for God to help you “do whatever it takes.” Learn this: An absurd desire, like a wish to fly through the air, is not cured by building wings or preparing instruments. It is cured only when the mind is thoroughly convinced that the thing is impossible and should not be attempted. So it is with lust. You cannot extinguish the fire by adding fuel, by dwelling on images, or by telling yourself you can handle a little flirtation. The desire must be strangled by the conviction that such things are death. When the thought knocks, you must not converse with it or promise it money; you must flee, turning the mind at once to the judgment seat of Christ and to the worm that never sleeps. This is the labor of seeking God: concentrating the mind, traveling from the preoccupations of the house, inquiring of the saints, giving no rest to the soul until the desire is slain.

You must be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Baptism washed away the guilt, but the old man, though drowned, still attempts to swim. The renewal happens when what has grown old is changed. The subject is the same man, but you must put off the old nature, which is the outer man subject to corruption, and put on the new man, which is renewed after the image of Christ. This is done by the Spirit in your mind. If the Spirit truly dwells there, He will not endure old deeds. Do not think that your tears are enough if your mind remains divided. The Apostle commands us to be perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgment, and if our own mind is split against itself, one part desiring holiness, the other entertaining what is rotten, that is the definition of a schism within your own soul. That schism makes you restless and hard.

Do not hide your struggle under a cloak of partial victory. The woman who tried to conceal her adultery by having John the Baptist killed only made her shame echo louder throughout the world. Sin is not hidden by the addition of more sin; it is exposed. So if you stumble, do not add the sin of despair or of secret flattery, but run to the Physician with immediate confession. Yet strive with all your strength so that you will not stumble. He who is able to take away the sin of the world is the very one who was baptized not for His own sake but for your purification. Cling to Him. Do not ask to be renewed while keeping the mind in the old paths, for that would be to attempt what is impossible: to crucify the Son of God afresh and put Him to an open shame. You have been enlightened, you have tasted the heavenly gift; do not betray it.

Pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be active. When the eyes desire to stare, withdraw them as though from a viper. When the hand seeks forbidden touch, make the members instruments of labor or of almsgiving instead. This is how you seek the Lord as one seeks gold: with intense concentration of mind, with perseverance through the night, with a refusal to be deceived by comfort. Let your mind no longer be divided between the glory of God and the shame of the world, for that double-mindedness will keep you from receiving anything. Fight now, not as one who has already attained, but as one who presses on, terrified that the demon of lust might return with seven others worse than itself. The one who endures to the end, the one who is truly renewed in the spirit of the mind, that one will see God.
