Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life! It is clear that the Holy Spirit is at work in you, breaking chains and drawing you closer to holiness. The fact that you are crying out to Jesus and giving Him glory for your deliverance is a powerful testimony of His grace. We stand with you in prayer, asking the Father to complete the good work He has begun in you.

The sins you mentioned, pornography, masturbation, and flirtation leading to sexual temptation, are indeed serious, as they defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and distort God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). These struggles often stem from deeper issues of the heart, such as loneliness, idolatry, or a misplaced search for fulfillment. But take heart, for "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We must also address the root of these sins with biblical truth. Lust and sexual immorality are not merely external behaviors but symptoms of a heart that may be seeking satisfaction outside of Christ. Jesus warned, "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies" (Matthew 15:19). True victory comes not just from behavior modification but from a transformed heart and mind. We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, allowing God’s Word to renew your thoughts (Romans 12:2) and to fill your heart with His truth. Memorize verses that combat temptation, such as Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me," or Job 31:1, "I made a covenant with my eyes, how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?"

Practical steps are also essential in this battle. Flee from temptation, literally remove yourself from environments, media, or relationships that lead you into sin (2 Timothy 2:22). Replace idle time with godly pursuits, such as prayer, worship, service, or studying the Bible. Accountability is crucial; seek out a trusted, mature believer of the same sex who can walk with you, pray for you, and hold you accountable (James 5:16). Confess your struggles openly, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We also urge you to guard your heart against the deception of "small" compromises. Flirtation, even if it seems harmless, can lead to emotional or physical unfaithfulness and is not pleasing to God. Proverbs 4:23 warns, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Set boundaries in your interactions with the opposite sex, and if you are not married, commit to purity in both action and thought, with the goal of honoring God in all relationships.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness, for Your mercy, and for the power of Your Holy Spirit to break every chain of sin. We ask that You would complete the work You have begun in him. Father, we pray for lasting and true deliverance from the sins of pornography, masturbation, and flirtation that lead to sexual temptation. Cleanse his heart, O God, and create in him a pure heart (Psalm 51:10). Renew his mind daily by the washing of Your Word, that he may no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we ask that You would grant him wisdom and discernment to recognize temptation and the strength to flee from it. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and holiness, for "how can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to Your word" (Psalm 119:9). Father, we pray that You would surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, that he may not walk this path alone. Give him the courage to confess his struggles and the humility to receive help and prayer from others.

We rebuke every spirit of lust, addiction, and deception in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that these sins will have no dominion over him, for "sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace" (Romans 6:14). Lord, we ask that You would fill every void in his heart with Your love, joy, and peace. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only source of true fulfillment. Teach him to delight himself in You, and You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4).

Father, we also pray for Your protection over his eyes, his mind, and his heart. Guard him from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). We ask that You would speak to him clearly, guiding him in Your ways and showing him the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

Lord, we thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We stand on the promise that "if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). We declare that this brother is forgiven, redeemed, and set free in Christ. May he walk in the freedom that You have purchased for him, and may his life bring glory and honor to Your name.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we want to encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord. Your progress is evidence of His work in you, and He is not finished with you yet. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly influences, stay rooted in Scripture, and never hesitate to reach out for prayer and support. The battle for purity is ongoing, but the victory is already won through Christ. You are not defined by your past sins but by the righteousness of Christ, which has been imputed to you. Walk in that truth, and let it transform every area of your life.

If you are not yet married, we encourage you to pursue a godly spouse who shares your faith and commitment to purity. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is worth waiting for a partner who will honor God with you. Until then, commit to living a life of holiness, trusting that God’s plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
