Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress the Lord has already brought into your life, for He is faithful to cleanse and restore those who come to Him in repentance. Your heartfelt cries and prayers have not gone unheard, and we stand with you now, lifting you before the throne of grace, asking for complete deliverance and transformation in Jesus’ name.

The sins you mention, pornography, masturbation, and flirting with impure motives, are not merely struggles of the flesh but battles for the soul. The enemy seeks to ensnare believers in shame and bondage, but Scripture declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper these sins are too powerful to overcome. They are not. Christ has already won the victory, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Fornication and sexual immorality defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and flirting with sin, even in seemingly harmless ways, can open doors to deeper temptation. We must guard our hearts diligently, for "the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). But God promises, "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26). This is the transformation we pray for you, complete renewal from the inside out.

We also urge you to take practical steps to flee temptation. Jesus said, "If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into Gehenna" (Matthew 5:29). This is not a call to self-harm but a radical commitment to remove anything that leads you into sin. If certain media, environments, or relationships are stumbling blocks, cut them off without hesitation. Fill your mind instead with Scripture, prayer, and godly fellowship. "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word" (Psalm 119:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. We thank You for the work You have already begun in this dear one’s life. Lord, we ask for complete deliverance from every chain of sexual sin, pornography, masturbation, and impure thoughts. Break every stronghold, Father, and replace it with a hunger for holiness. Renew their mind by Your Word, that they may no longer conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment. Show them the root of these struggles, whether it is loneliness, idleness, ungodly influences, or unmet desires. Heal those wounds, Father, and fill the void with Your perfect love. Let them know that You are enough, that in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Give them the strength to flee temptation and the courage to take radical steps to remove anything that leads them into sin.

We pray for accountability, Lord. Surround them with godly believers who will walk with them, pray for them, and speak truth into their life. Let them find refuge in the body of Christ, where they can be encouraged and held accountable in love. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance" (Proverbs 27:17).

Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace to cover every past failure. Let them not be weighed down by shame but walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Lord, we declare that this battle is already won in Jesus’ name. You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says this sin is too strong to overcome. We stand on Your promise: "Sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace" (Romans 6:14).

We pray for a godly spouse for this one, Lord, if it is Your will. Let them prepare their heart now for a marriage that honors You, where both husband and wife seek You above all else. Until then, let them find their satisfaction in You alone. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have started. May this one walk in victory, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Keep pressing into the Lord, dear one. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. Every step of obedience is a step toward the abundant life Christ died to give you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this fight, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord fights for you. Walk in His strength today.

Thank you for letting us share in your joy over the real improvement God has brought, and for giving Him all the glory. We're standing with you now for the lasting, deep freedom you're asking for.

There’s something we’ve learned in walking with others through this very battle: the struggle isn’t just about willpower or even shame, it’s often that part of us still clings to what we know only harms us. That double-mindedness you’ve sensed is real, and it isn’t a sign you’re failing; it’s a sign you’re in a genuine fight. The good news is that Jesus never shames us for needing Him again today. He simply says, ā€œCome.ā€ So each fresh cry for mercy, each decision to turn your eyes away, is a step toward a renewed mind.

We want to encourage you to keep bringing this into the light with a trusted Christian brother or sister, someone who won’t lecture but will pray, check in, and remind you of what’s true. Practical boundaries (filters, deleting apps, avoiding the times and places you know are weak) matter too, not as a cage but as a guardrail while your heart is being reordered. You’re not doing those things to earn God’s favor; you’re doing them because you’re already loved and want to walk free.

Father, thank You for the victory already at work. We ask You to finish what You’ve started, renew this mind, root out every hidden hook, and fill every empty ache with more of Your presence. Give courage to do whatever it takes, wisdom to recognize the liar’s voice, and a steady experience of Your mercy that changes everything. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a mercy that you can already write of great improvement! Give all the glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, for truly He has begun a good work in you. But you are wise to plead for more, for the heart is deceitful and the old nature lurks like a beast crouching at the door. The very prayer you send up, wet with tears, is itself a token that the Spirit of God is striving within you.

Yet remember, the path of deliverance is not one of ease, but of holy vigilance. You have tasted freedom, but the chains are not fully broken. Do not imagine that the enemy will leave you unassailed because you have won a skirmish. He will come again, perhaps in a season of weariness or sudden opportunity, and if you are not watching, you may find yourself entangled once more. The prayer, ā€œLead us not into temptation,ā€ must never grow stale upon your lips. It is a petition for every hour, for we never know when Providence may permit a testing that will try our mettle. And mark this well: the man who prays that prayer and then walks into the place of danger makes himself a liar. Flee the occasions of sin. Guard your eyes, your thoughts, your solitude. There is a rust about worldly amusements and loose company that will eat into your soul like a canker if you give them lodging.

But do not look to your own strength to keep yourself pure. The deliverance you seek is as much a work of sovereign grace as the pardon of your sins. You cannot scour the spot from your own robe; only the blood of Jesus can cleanse, and only His Spirit can sanctify. When you feel your helplessness, then you are nearest to the heavenly silver and gold of true holiness. It is when we cease from self-effort and cling to the Ransom that we know liberty. God has found a Ransom, Christ, the spotless Lamb, and because He bore the penalty, there is not only forgiveness but power to break the dominion of sin. He leads His people forth with health and strength; He makes the deliverance effectual. Call upon Him, and He will speak peace to your conscience and renew your mind, that these sins may be forever far from you.

And when the full deliverance comes, as come it shall if you abide in Christ, then your mouth must be filled with declaration. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Every tear you have shed in the night will be a note in the song of gratitude when the morning breaks. Be earnest, then, and hopeful. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over unto death. He who began the work will bring it to completion for His own glory’s sake.

You have seen improvement, and for this we give glory to the Lord. But do not let the enemy lull you to sleep with partial victory. The apostle does not speak of cleansing the flesh only but says, ā€œThat ye be renewed in the spirit of your mind.ā€ The old man must be put off entirely, not merely trimmed back. Whosoever therefore has the Spirit will perform no old deed, for the Spirit will not endure old deeds. The renewal is of the mind, the incorporeal part, for God is Spirit and must be served with our spirit and in truth.

You weep and cry over the law warring in your members. I see a different law, says Paul, bringing me into captivity to the law of sin. He does not say the nature of the flesh is sin, but sin dwells in the members. Just as a tyrant seizes a king’s court, the blame is not the house but the usurper. So the flesh is not evil, but sin has taken up residence. And this sin is a law not by nature but from the strict obedience yielded to it. You have been obeying it, and so it became a law over you. Now you must depose it.

Do not imagine this is beyond remedy. Esau did not find repentance because he repented not as he ought. But Peter went out and wept bitterly, and even so great a sin was forgiven. You too must weep not merely from despair but with a purpose to amend. The mind holds the reins; when the mind is corrupted, all is overturned. You once ā€œdid not like to retain God in your knowledgeā€ in this matter, clinging to the lusts of the mind itself. God gave them over to a reprobate mind, says Paul. The fount of these evils is not the body but the will.

Take up the true sacrifice. You must now circumcise not your flesh but your evil thoughts, crucify yourself, and remove your unreasonable desires. Make yourself a holocaust to the Lord, a living sacrifice offered in purity of mind. This is not rest for the flesh but warfare. Delight not in the fleeting spectacle that pains more grievously than any sting; flee to the haven of that pure and spiritual song which remains forever vigorous in the soul. Let your prayer be for this: that God renew your mind, that you despise the sin which brings captivity, and that you present yourself dedicated to Him alone.
