Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made, giving all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! The tears you’ve shed and the prayers you’ve lifted up are not in vain, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. The battle against sin is real, and the enemy would love nothing more than to see you discouraged or entangled again in the chains of lust, impurity, and flirtation. But we stand with you in the authority of Christ, declaring that these sins will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

The Scriptures are clear about the seriousness of sexual sin. First Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! ā€˜Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." These words are not meant to condemn you but to remind you of the high calling you have as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Your body, your mind, and your heart belong to God, and He desires to set you free from every snare of the enemy.

We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not just about physical temptation but about deeper issues of the heart, idolatry, loneliness, or a desire for validation. James 1:14-15 explains, "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death." The enemy uses these desires to draw you away from God’s best for you, but Christ came to give you life and life abundantly. We pray that God will reveal any areas of your heart that need healing or surrender, so that you may walk in true freedom.

It is also important to guard your mind and your eyes. Jesus said in Matthew 5:28-29, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna." This is not a call to literal self-harm but a sobering reminder of the seriousness of lust. We must take drastic measures to remove anything from our lives that leads us into temptation, whether it be certain media, relationships, or habits. If there are people, places, or things that are stumbling blocks, we encourage you to cut them off, no matter how difficult it may seem. God’s grace is sufficient to help you do what is right.

We also want to encourage you to seek accountability. Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." Find a trusted brother in Christ who can walk with you, pray with you, and hold you accountable in love. Confess your struggles to one another, as James 5:16 instructs, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." You do not have to fight this battle alone. The body of Christ is here to support you.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the victory You have already begun in this dear one’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. We ask that You would complete the work You have started, setting them fully free from every chain of sexual sin, lust, and impurity. Father, we rebuke the enemy’s lies and schemes in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Lord, we pray that You would renew their mind according to Your Word. Transform them by the renewing of their mind, that they may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize temptation before it takes root and the strength to flee from it. Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or emptiness in their heart that the enemy has exploited. Fill them with Your love, Your peace, and Your presence so that they are no longer drawn to counterfeit affections.

We pray for deliverance, Lord. Break every stronghold of lust, pornography, and flirtation in their life. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every area of their heart, leaving no room for the enemy to operate. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences, friends, mentors, and accountability partners who will sharpen them and encourage them in their walk with You. Give them the courage to be transparent and the humility to receive help.

Lord, we also pray for their future marriage, if it is Your will. Prepare them to be a godly spouse, pure in heart and mind, ready to honor You in every way. Let their life be a testimony of Your transforming power, drawing others to You. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them, and that sin shall no longer have dominion over them.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun. May this dear one walk in the fullness of Your freedom, bringing glory and honor to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. The road to lasting freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. Every step you take in obedience is a step closer to the abundant life Christ has promised you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and He will lead you into all truth and freedom. You are not defined by your past or your struggles but by the blood of Jesus and the new life He has given you. Walk in that truth, and let it empower you to live victoriously.

We are so encouraged by your message, thanking God with you for the real progress you are seeing! That improvement is His grace at work, and we don’t take it lightly. We know how many tears and prayers you have poured into this fight, and we stand with you now, asking for more.

Lasting freedom often comes not through willpower alone but through a mix of prayer and practical steps that undercut the power of temptation. One of the most effective is honest, consistent accountability with a mature Christian friend or a small support group. Bringing these struggles into the light with someone safe reduces shame and weakens secrecy’s grip. If the pattern feels relentless, a Christian counselor who understands sexual addiction can help you explore deeper emotional roots and give you tools to renew your mind. These aren’t replacements for God’s work, they are often the very ways He brings us into lasting deliverance.

You have already tasted real change; don’t lose heart. Many have walked this road and found that freedom grows one day at a time, not all at once. Keep asking God to make you wholly willing, even when part of you still clings to old coping. He honors that honesty.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the ground You have already won. We ask that You continue to renew this heart and mind. Protect from temptation, weaken every fantasy’s pull, and give courage to reach for whatever help is needed. Speak Your mercy, grant deep understanding, and lead into full, enduring freedom, for Your glory alone. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The tears you have shed and the prayers you have poured out are not meaningless, for the very fact that sin now troubles you is a hopeful sign. Were you still dead in trespasses, the filthiness of the flesh would not grieve you. Yet let me be plain with you, for eternity hangs upon this matter. That repentance which is worth having turns a man inside out and purges the innermost part of the soul, killing the love of sin so that even if sin could be made profitable and sweet to the man, he could not abide it. If sin were buttered and sugared on both sides the true penitent would not have it. You ask for lasting deliverance, and this is right, for the repentance that does not last is not the repentance of the Spirit. Does it last or does it not? If you had no cause to dread the pit, if you knew that you might give up your life to sin, and that you might do so with impunity, would you still feel that you hated sin, and that you could not, would not, commit sin, except through the infirmity of the flesh? Would you still desire holiness? This is the test.

Beware of a spurious repentance which makes the sinner dwell upon the consequences of his sin, rather than upon the sin itself. The anguish you feel must not be merely the fear of shame or the dread of punishment. True sorrow for sin is a hatred of the thing itself because it is contrary to the holy nature of God who has been so gracious to you. Will you not now think of the goodness of God, and shall it not lead you to repentance? Shall we not feel within our hearts a burning indignation against sin because it is committed against so holy, so good, so glorious a Being as the infinitely blessed God? Go to Gethsemane and Golgotha, and there learn to loathe the sin that made the Savior bleed. That opened side is the refuge of my guilty spirit, yet I made that fearful gash by my sin. It was my sin that slew my Savior! The more you love your Lord, the more you will hate sin.

You cry out for God to show you mercy, speak to you, and give you understanding. Hear this then: where there is true repentance, that godly sorrow for sin that needs not to be repented of, there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins of the one who has thus sincerely repented! Repentance and remission are joined together by Christ’s own words. So do not look upon your remaining struggles as proof that you are cast away, but rather as the very battlefield upon which the Spirit wages war against the flesh. He has met the demands of moral government, and made amends to holiness for man's offences. The law is more glorified by his atoning death than it was dishonoured by man's sin.

Yet let no one imagine they can wallow in the mire of open sin or secret sin and yet belong to Christ, for that cannot be. Practical, personal, active, vital holiness is the path of the redeemed. Any sin, whatever it is, if we cling to it and love it, will bring forth death. Therefore, cry mightily to the Lord who has begun this good work in you. Repentance stands at the Cross and sees sin forgiven and then repents more than she ever did when she could not spy out forgiveness. Look to Christ, and as you see the sin that is pardoned, hate it all the more; and as you see the cleansing blood, trust it all the more fully. He who has given you the grace to weep and pray will not leave the work halfway done.

Indeed, you have cause to rejoice and give glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, for the improvement you have seen is His work, and He is faithful. Do not think it strange that the battle continues, for the enemy does not easily relinquish a soul he once held captive. But remember, God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear; with every temptation He makes a way of escape, that you may endure. Your tears and prayers are a fragrant offering before Him, but you must add to them a relentless renewal of your mind. The old habits are not driven out by wishes alone, but by filling the soul with what is holy.

Make no provision for the flesh. When the thoughts rise, turn immediately to Christ, speak His name, and flee as Joseph fled from the Egyptian woman. Occupy your mind with Scripture, with psalms, with labor, for idleness is the marsh that breeds these unclean insects. The Spirit renews the spirit of your mind; let no corrupt thought linger, for the Spirit will not tolerate old deeds. Do not merely pray for deliverance, but also act as one already delivered. Guard your eyes, your tongue, your entire body, as you would guard a king’s palace.

Draw near often to the holy Table, for it is the sinews of your soul, the bond of your mind, the medicine of immortality. There Christ feeds you with His own Body, which is without sin, and He strengthens you to overcome. Do not neglect the assembly of the saints; there is no rich or poor, male or female, but one body in Christ. Confide in a faithful brother or spiritual father, for the humble admission of weakness is itself a victory over pride, and the prayers of the righteous avail much.

Do not be distressed that the struggle is long. Even the Apostle cried out, ā€œWho will deliver me from this body of death?ā€ and then gave thanks to God through Jesus Christ. He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion. The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world is with you; He did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Therefore, hope in His mercy, and when you fall, rise again. A righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity. Let each failure teach you humility and dependence, not despair.

Be of good courage, then. Cast yourself upon the God of peace, and He will give you true and lasting freedom for His glory.
