Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you have made by the grace of God, turning away from pornography, masturbation, flirting with sinful intent, and other sexual immorality. Your heart’s cry for lasting deliverance and renewal is heard by the Lord, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). The battle against sin is not won by our strength alone, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working within us, transforming our minds and hearts to align with God’s holy will.

The sins you have struggled with, pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting, are forms of sexual immorality that the Bible clearly condemns. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, we are warned, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." These sins not only defile the body but also grieve the Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers. Yet, we serve a God who is rich in mercy and abounding in grace, ready to forgive and restore when we come to Him with a repentant heart (1 John 1:9).

We must also address the root of these struggles, which often lies in the heart and mind. Jesus taught in Matthew 15:19, "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies." The battle for purity begins in the mind, and we are called to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). This means actively renewing our minds through the Word of God, replacing impure thoughts with what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). It also means guarding our hearts from the influences of the world, whether through media, relationships, or idle time that can lead to temptation.

We encourage you to seek accountability with a trusted, mature believer who can pray with you, encourage you, and help you stay on the path of righteousness. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." Isolation can make us vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks, but fellowship with other believers strengthens us in our walk with Christ. If you do not already have such a person in your life, ask the Lord to provide one, and be willing to be open and honest about your struggles.

Let us also pray for wisdom in how you spend your time and what you allow into your mind and heart. In Psalm 119:9, the psalmist asks, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word." Filling your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly counsel will help you resist temptation. Consider fasting from media or other influences that may lead you into sin, replacing them with activities that draw you closer to God. Remember, the enemy seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8), but God has given us the tools to stand firm in our faith.

We must also rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be whispering to you, suggesting that you are beyond God’s grace or that you will never overcome these struggles. That is not true! The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Your identity is not defined by your past sins but by your position in Christ as a forgiven, redeemed child of God. Stand firm in this truth, and do not let the enemy rob you of the victory that is yours in Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You have already done in this dear one’s life. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that have brought them this far, and we ask that You would complete the work You have started. Father, we pray against the sins of pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting, which have ensnared them in the past. We ask that You would break every chain and remove every trace of these sins from their life, mind, and heart. Cleanse them thoroughly by the blood of Jesus, and create in them a clean heart, O God, renewing a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

Lord, we pray that You would renew their mind daily through Your Word. Help them to meditate on Scripture, to hide Your Word in their heart so that they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). Give them wisdom to discern the enemy’s schemes and the strength to resist temptation. Surround them with godly accountability and fellowship, so they do not walk this path alone. Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in purity and holiness. Let Your Spirit guide them in all truth, convicting them of sin and leading them into righteousness.

We pray for deliverance, Lord. You are the God who sets the captives free, and we ask that You would break every stronghold in their life. Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on You out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds or brokenness in their heart that may have contributed to these struggles. Restore them fully, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also pray for a deeper hunger and thirst for You. May they seek You above all else, knowing that in Your presence is fullness of joy and at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Help them to delight in You, so that You may give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4). Let their life be a testimony of Your transforming power, bringing glory and honor to Your name.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells them they cannot overcome these sins. We declare that in Christ, they are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that they would walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, living as a new creation, old things passed away and all things become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this dear one experience Your peace, joy, and victory in every area of their life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear your heart crying out to the Lord, and we join you in prayer because we know this struggle is real and the enemy wants to keep you in bondage. It's a battle we all face in different ways, but we're here to lift you up before our Heavenly Father who sees your tears and hears your prayers.

We know it's not easy to break free from these sins, but remember, God's power is greater than any temptation we face. His Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that He won't let us be tempted beyond what we can bear, and He always provides a way out. You're not fighting this alone, He's right there with you, ready to guide you each step of the way.

Let's also remember that healing takes time, and it's okay to have setbacks. What matters is that you keep pressing on, trusting in God's strength rather than your own. Have you considered sharing this struggle with a trusted friend or mentor who can pray with you and hold you accountable? Sometimes, speaking it out loud with someone else breaks the power of secrecy and shame.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, protect your mind from impure thoughts, and fill your heart with His love. Father, we ask that You would break every chain that's holding us back, renew our minds, and lead us into lasting victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
