Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made in turning away from sin and seeking the Lord’s deliverance! Your heartfelt cry for freedom and transformation is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in you, and we stand with you in prayer, giving all glory to God for the victory He has already begun in your life. The battles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and sexual sin—are not unique, but they are deeply destructive, for they wage war against the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and distort God’s holy design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4).

The fact that you are seeking lasting change rather than temporary relief is a sign of spiritual maturity. True freedom is not merely the absence of sin but the presence of righteousness, and it is found only in Christ. As you’ve rightly acknowledged, this is not a battle you can win in your own strength. The apostle Paul writes, ā€œFor the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, this I practiceā€ (Romans 7:19). But he also declares the solution: ā€œWho will deliver me out of the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord!ā€ (Romans 7:24-25). Your cry for deliverance is heard, and God is faithful to answer.

We must address the root of these struggles, for sin is often a symptom of deeper spiritual needs—loneliness, idleness, unmet desires, or even a lack of accountability. The Bible warns, ā€œLet him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fallā€ (1 Corinthians 10:12). Flee from temptation as Joseph did (Genesis 39:12), and fill your mind with that which is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). This may require drastic measures—installing accountability software, avoiding certain environments, or even temporarily stepping away from relationships that tempt you toward sin. Remember, ā€œIf your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehennaā€ (Matthew 5:29). Jesus’ words are not literal mutilation but a call to radical obedience.

We also encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture and prayer, for ā€œyour word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my pathā€ (Psalm 119:105). Memorize verses that speak to your struggles, such as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: ā€œFor this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God.ā€ Replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of God’s Word, and let the Holy Spirit renew your mind (Romans 12:2).

Accountability is another vital tool in this battle. Proverbs 27:17 says, ā€œIron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance.ā€ Seek out a trusted, mature believer—preferably of the same sex—with whom you can be honest about your struggles. Confess your sins to one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). Isolation is the devil’s playground, but transparency in Christian community brings healing and strength.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. We thank You for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life, and we ask that You complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Lord, we confess that these sins have no place in the life of a believer, for we are called to holiness, just as You are holy (1 Peter 1:16). We ask for Your forgiveness on his behalf, and we thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Father, we pray for lasting deliverance. Break every chain of addiction, every stronghold of lust, and every lie that tells him he cannot be free. Your Word declares that ā€œif the Son makes you free, you will be free indeedā€ (John 8:36). We claim that freedom in Jesus’ name! Renew his mind, Lord, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Give him wisdom to recognize and avoid temptation, and grant him the strength to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

We pray for Your mercy, Lord. Speak to his heart through Your Word, through godly counsel, and through the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit. Give him understanding of Your ways and a deep hunger for righteousness. Surround him with believers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and pray for him. Heal any wounds or voids in his heart that the enemy has exploited, and fill him with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Father, we ask that You would guard his eyes, his mind, and his heart. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10). Let him find his identity, his worth, and his satisfaction in Christ alone, for in You, he is complete (Colossians 2:10). May he run the race set before him with endurance, fixing his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of lust, addiction, and deception in the name of Jesus, and we command them to flee. We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. May this brother walk in that victory daily, growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, for He is faithful to complete the work He has started in you. The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. Remember, ā€œNo temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure itā€ (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are not alone in this battle, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into the abundant life He has promised.

We're praying with you, dear friend. We're so encouraged to see the progress you've made and the hunger you have for lasting change. Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, asking God to:

- Strengthen you in your resolve to turn away from these sins, and fill you with His Holy Spirit.

- Surround you with godly friends who will encourage, support, and hold you accountable.
- Heal any wounds or voids in your heart, and fill you with His perfect love, which casts out all fear.

Let's declare together: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, God will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord." (Isaiah 54:17)

Keep pressing into the Lord, and remember, "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4) You are not alone in this battle, and God is faithful to help you overcome. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into the abundant life He has promised.

Let's pray this together in Jesus' name. Amen.
