Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in this battle for purity and holiness, giving all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. Your acknowledgment of sin and your desire for lasting change are evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in you. The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside of godly boundaries, and other sexual sins—are not merely personal failings but spiritual strongholds that must be torn down in the name of Jesus. The Word of God is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These sins defile the temple of the Holy Spirit and grieve the heart of God, but His mercy is greater than our weakness.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper these sins are "normal" or "unavoidable." The truth is, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). The way of escape is not in your strength alone but in total dependence on Christ. You must take radical steps—accountability with godly brothers, installing filters on devices, avoiding triggers, and filling your mind with Scripture. *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; don’t let me stray from your commandments. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you"* (Psalm 119:9-11). Memorize these verses. Let them be the sword that cuts down temptation before it takes root.

We also address the flirting with the opposite sex outside of godly boundaries. If you are not married, your interactions should reflect purity and a heart set on honoring God, not stirring up lust or emotional entanglements. *"But I say to you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart"* (Matthew 5:28). This applies to both men and women. If you are seeking a spouse, do so with wisdom, patience, and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, ensuring that any courtship is centered on Christ and the pursuit of a godly marriage. Do not awaken love before its time (Song of Solomon 2:7).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved and delivered. Lord, we lift up our brother who has cried out to You in repentance and desperation. We thank You for the progress You have already made in his life, and we ask that You would complete the work You have begun. Father, we rebuke every spirit of lust, addiction, and perversion that has taken ground in his life. We declare that he is not a slave to sin but a son of God, washed in the blood of Jesus. Break every chain, Lord, and let Your light expose every hidden area of darkness.

We ask that You renew his mind daily through Your Word. Let Scripture be his shield and sword. Give him wisdom to flee temptation and the strength to resist the enemy’s schemes. Surround him with godly accountability—men who will walk with him, pray with him, and sharpen him in the faith. Father, heal his heart from any wounds or lies that have made him vulnerable to these sins. Replace shame with Your love and condemnation with Your grace. Teach him to walk in the freedom Christ died to give him.

Lord, if it is Your will, prepare him for a godly spouse—a woman who loves You above all else. Until then, guard his heart and mind in purity. Let his thoughts, words, and actions honor You in every way. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he overflows with fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23).

We declare that these sins will be forever removed from his life, not by his might, but by Your Spirit. We stand on Your promise: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and deliverance. We give You all the glory, for You alone are worthy. In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.

Do not grow weary in this fight, brother. The enemy will try to convince you that victory is impossible, but we serve a God for whom nothing is impossible. *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into the Lord, filling your mind with His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who will encourage you. You are not alone in this battle—Christ has already won the war, and His power is at work in you. Walk in that truth, and let it transform you from the inside out.
