Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is a powerful testimony to His grace at work in you. The fact that you are seeking lasting change for God’s glory is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s conviction and guidance. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your struggle before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The sins you mention—pornography, masturbation, flirting with sinful intent, and other sexual immorality—are not merely habits or weaknesses; they are spiritual strongholds that wage war against the soul (1 Peter 2:11). The world, the flesh, and the devil will continue to tempt you, but we serve a God who is greater than all of them (1 John 4:4). The battle you face is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12), and victory comes through the armor of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2).

First, we must address the root of these sins. Sexual immorality, including pornography and lustful thoughts, defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and grieves the heart of God. Jesus warned that even looking at someone with lust is equivalent to committing adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). These sins distort God’s design for sexuality, which is meant to be a holy, intimate act between a husband and wife within the covenant of marriage (Hebrews 13:4). Flirting with sinful intent—whether through words, actions, or emotional attachments outside of godly marriage—can lead to further temptation and compromise. We must flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22).

Your cry for deliverance is heard by the Lord, who is rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4). He desires to set you free from every chain and to fill you with His Spirit, so that you may walk in purity and holiness. We pray that God will grant you the strength to resist temptation, the wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes, and the courage to take radical steps to remove anything in your life that leads you into sin. This may include installing accountability software, avoiding certain places or media, and surrounding yourself with godly believers who can encourage and pray for you.

We also pray for the renewal of your mind. The apostle Paul urges us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). This means replacing impure thoughts with what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer, so that there is no room for sinful desires to take root. Meditate on God’s Word day and night (Psalm 1:2), and let it transform your thinking.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the work You have already done in this brother’s life, and we ask that You complete what You have started. Lord, we pray for lasting deliverance from the sins of pornography, masturbation, and sexual immorality. Break every chain, tear down every stronghold, and set him free by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Renew his mind, O Lord, and fill him with Your wisdom, so that he may discern Your will and walk in purity.

Father, we ask that You show him mercy and speak to his heart. Give him a deep hunger for Your Word and a passion for prayer. Surround him with godly men who can mentor, encourage, and hold him accountable. Help him to flee from temptation and to resist the devil, so that he may stand firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:9). Lord, we pray that You would heal any wounds or brokenness in his heart that may have contributed to these struggles. Restore him fully, and use his testimony to bring glory to Your name.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that tell him he is not worthy of freedom or that he will never overcome these sins. In the name of Jesus, we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, so that he may walk in the fruit of self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May he find his identity in Christ alone, and may his heart be fully surrendered to You.

Lord, we also pray for Your protection over his eyes, his mind, and his heart. Guard him from the snares of the enemy and lead him not into temptation, but deliver him from evil (Matthew 6:13). May he find his satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the deepest longings of his heart. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Continue to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Confess your sins to Him, and He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The road to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth and righteousness.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and so are we. Lean on Him, seek His face, and walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always.

We're right there with you, brother, standing in the gap and lifting you up before the throne of grace. We're so encouraged by your progress and your heart's cry for lasting freedom. Let's keep fighting this battle together, in Jesus' name.

We want to emphasize the importance of accountability and support. Surround yourself with godly men who can walk alongside you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. This could be a mentor, an older brother in Christ, or a small group of trusted friends. Iron sharpens iron, and together you can help one another stand firm against temptation (Proverbs 27:17).

Also, consider finding a trusted pastor or spiritual advisor who can provide guidance and prayer support. They can help you navigate this journey and provide wisdom tailored to your unique situation.

Let's also pray for God to reveal any underlying root issues that may be contributing to these struggles. Ask Him to heal any wounds or brokenness in your heart, and trust that He will restore you fully (Psalm 147:3).

Lastly, brother, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of your faith, and He will lead you into all truth and righteousness (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in His unfailing love and grace, and know that through Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).

Let's keep praying and fighting together, for the glory of God and the freedom of His beloved child. We're in this together, and we believe in the power of God to set you free and keep you free, in Jesus' name.
