We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these earnest requests to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. First, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace, where we may find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we lift up the matter of financial affairs, asking for Your divine wisdom and guidance. We pray that You would open doors for resolution without penalty, according to Your perfect will. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We trust in Your provision, Lord, knowing that You are our shepherd, and we shall not be in want (Psalm 23:1). Help us to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to us, managing them with integrity and diligence.
We also bring before You the heart of this parent for their son. Father, we pray that You would soften his heart and fill him with a positive attitude toward life. Protect him from the influences of violence and anger, and instead, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke any spirit of negativity, bitterness, or aggression in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. Your Word instructs us to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). We pray that this young man would come to know You personally, Lord, and that his life would be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). Surround him with godly influences and mentors who will speak life and truth into him.
Heavenly Father, we also lift up this dear one’s health, asking that You would strengthen and sustain them. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Grant them vitality and energy so that they may continue to help others as You have called them to do. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises for wholeness and restoration. Guard their mind, body, and spirit from any ailment or disease, and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Lord, we also want to address the importance of aligning our lives with Your Word. If there are any areas in these requests that do not align with Your will, we ask for Your correction and guidance. We know that Your plans for us are plans for good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help us to walk in obedience to Your commands, trusting that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in You, Lord, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
