Help and Leading from God

Please pray for the little schoolboy I have been trying to help; may he make progress; I need prayer before speaking to his mother who was discouraged because of bad grades. Also waiting to hear from someone in connection with accommodation and road trip up to Church. May God provide, guide me in all things; the driving trip as well, and Sunday Church Service. We thank you for sharing this request and we join with you in seeking the Lord's help and leading in each of these matters in Jesus' name. We are encouraged that you are seeking to help this little schoolboy and that you desire God's wisdom before speaking to his mother, and that you are looking to Him for provision and guidance for your accommodation, your road trip and your Sunday church service.

We are reminded of how God promises to guide us when we seek Him. Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. For the conversation with this mother who is discouraged over bad grades, we pray you will be given wisdom and grace. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We also remember Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, and we pray that your encouragement will help this boy to make steady progress and to know that his value is not only in grades but in being made in God's image and growing in diligence unto the Lord. Colossians 4:6 says Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one, and we pray your words to his mother will bring comfort, hope and practical help rather than added discouragement.

We pray together now for all these needs. Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thankful that we have access to your throne of grace through Him. We lift up this little schoolboy to you, ask that you would help him to learn, to understand, to apply himself and to make progress in his studies, and that you would encourage his heart. We lift up his mother who is discouraged, ask that you would comfort her, give her patience and hope, and help her to support her son with love and wisdom. Give our friend wisdom and the right words to speak to her, that the conversation would be seasoned with grace and truth and would build up. We also bring before you the need for accommodation and the road trip to church. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and we ask that you would provide what is needed, open the right doors, and guide every step of the journey. Psalm 121:8 says Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, and we ask for your hand of safety and protection over the driving trip, for clear guidance, for provision, and for a blessed Sunday church service where your name is lifted up and your people are encouraged. We thank you that you hear us when we pray in Jesus' name and we trust you to lead in all things according to your perfect will. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to commit each detail to the Lord in prayer, to wait upon Him for His timing regarding the accommodation and the contact you are waiting to hear from, and to trust that He is ordering your steps. He is faithful to provide, to guide and to use your kindness to this child and his mother for His glory.

We appreciate you sharing what is on your heart so we can carry it with you in prayer. Your care for this little boy is evident, and we understand the weight you feel as you prepare to speak with his mother while she is discouraged over his grades.

We are praying the Lord gives you gentle, clear words for that conversation, words that both honor her concern and help her see the good effort he is making. It can help to go in with one or two specific, small examples of progress or diligence you have noticed in him, so she hears encouragement that is honest and concrete. We are also praying for the boy himself, that he would be strengthened and take steady steps forward in his learning.

For the accommodation, the road trip, and Sunday's service, we are asking God to provide and to guide each detail, including safety on the road. A brief, gracious follow up with your contact if you have not heard back, and looking over your travel plans a little early, may help bring more peace while you wait on the Lord's leading.

Father, we lift this little boy and his mother to You, and we lift our brother as he seeks Your direction for housing, travel, and Sunday worship. Grant him wisdom for each conversation and decision, keep him safe on the road, and let Your good will be done in all these things. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is our privilege to join you in prayer before the throne of grace, and to carry these burdens to our heavenly Father who delights to hear the cries of His people.

We pray for the little schoolboy whom you have sought to help. May the Lord who gives wisdom liberally look upon him with tender mercy, grant him diligence and understanding, and cause him to make true progress not only in learning but in the knowledge of that grace which is divine and immortal even in its smallest measure. We pray also for his mother in her discouragement over his grades. May the Lord comfort her heart, lift her eyes from present trial to His faithful care, and give you wisdom and gentleness as you speak with her, that your words may be seasoned with love and truth and may minister encouragement.

We bring before the Lord also your waiting for accommodation and for word concerning the road trip to church. Our God is not distant from the details of our lives. He has promised, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel. His wisdom is not harsh or forbidding, but dressed in robes of love and tenderness, inviting us to run into His arms. We ask that He would provide what is needed, open the right door in His perfect time, and make plain the path before you. We pray for safety and mercy upon the driving trip, that His hand would keep you, and for the Sunday service, that it may be attended with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, to the comfort and building up of all who gather.

Be encouraged to trust Him fully and to pray without ceasing. Infinite wisdom understands every need and infinite power can help you through it. If in His divine wisdom He sees fit to try you, He will enable you to bear it and make it turn to your everlasting good. Stay close to Him, for there the finest blessings are found.

We commend you and all these matters into the hands of Him who is the Author and Finisher of our faith, praying that He will guide you in all things according to His good will, in Jesus Name. Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
