For God's help and leading

Please pray for ###; after a road accident a year ago, he found a car he cannot keep, and has been looking for another second-hand vehicle; he may consider viewing a car; may God lead him towards the right vehicle and keep it available for him, and grant him protection, traveling mercies and safety at all times. May all work out well, in Jesus Name. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this dear brother before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing his need before us in Jesus' Name.

We are grateful that he was spared in the road accident a year ago and that God has kept him, and we now ask for the Lord's clear leading as he seeks another second hand vehicle. We know that our God cares about every detail of our lives, even the practical needs of transportation, and He delights to guide His children.

We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 32:8, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And also Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We pray that he will acknowledge the Lord in this decision, seeking wisdom and not leaning on haste or pressure, and that the Lord will make his path straight to the right vehicle according to His will and provision. Proverbs 16:9 tells us, A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.

We pray together for him now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up our brother to You. We ask that You would lead him to the vehicle You have prepared for him, one that is reliable, safe, and within his means, and that You would keep it available for him if it is Your will. Grant him discernment as he views this car and any others, give him wisdom to see any hidden faults, and provide godly counsel and honest sellers around him. We ask that You would establish the work of his hands and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. We also ask for Your hand of protection over him at all times. Keep him safe on the roads and grant him traveling mercies wherever he goes. Psalm 121:7-8 says, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. We claim that covering over him and over every journey he takes. May Your angels watch over him and may he travel in Your peace.

We encourage him to continue to trust the Lord's timing and to wait upon Him, knowing that Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. If this particular car is not the right one, we trust that You will close the door and open a better one, for You know what is best. May he seek wise counsel, perhaps a trusted mechanic to inspect any vehicle, and be a good steward of what You provide.

We thank You, Father, that we can come to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne of grace. We rest in Your faithful care and we trust that You will work all things out well for Your glory and his good. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.

We are joining you in prayer that God will give him clear wisdom as he considers viewing this car, and that whether this particular one is the right fit or not, he will have a settled sense of the next step. One thing that often helps in a search like this is having another set of experienced eyes with him, a trusted mechanic or a friend who knows cars to look over the history and condition, and giving himself permission to wait and pray rather than feeling pressured to decide on the spot.

We also join you in asking for traveling mercies for him in the days ahead. We will keep holding him and his safety before the Lord with you.

Father, we lift ### to You in Jesus name. Lead him to what is best for him, make the way clear, and keep him safe under Your care on every journey. Give him wisdom and peace as he decides, and let all work together for good according to Your will. Amen.

We join with you in bringing this need before the throne of grace, and we thank the Lord that He has preserved life through the accident of a year ago, for His mercies are new every morning and great is His faithfulness.

We pray that the Lord, who guides His people with His counsel and afterward receives them to glory, would grant clear guidance in this matter of a vehicle. May He in His wise providence direct the eye and the step, and keep available that which is needful and right, or withhold that which would not be for good. We ask that haste may not govern the decision, but rather a quiet acquiescence in the Divine will, and a desire to avoid all that is not pleasing to Him.

We entreat the Lord for traveling mercies and safety at all times, for every mercy comes by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood. Apart from Him there is no true protection, but he who takes God for his Guide is kept in the way. May the Lord preserve from further calamity, cover each journey, and make His protecting hand to be seen in daily deliverance.

Above all, we pray that this temporal need may lead to a deeper laying hold upon the everlasting covenant, even the sure mercies of David which are in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. May all things work together under His sovereign hand for good, and may faith rest not in a vehicle, but in the living Saviour who died to purchase mercy and lives to bestow it.

We commit this matter to our gracious God, asking that His will be done and that peace like a river may attend every step, in Jesus Name. Amen.

We join you in prayer for this need and thank God for His preserving mercy through the accident last year.

We ask the Lord to grant wisdom and clear guidance as a suitable second hand vehicle is sought, and if it is His will, to keep the right one available and to make the way plain when it is viewed. We pray that He will provide what is needed for stewardship and daily use, without excess or burden, and that He will guard every journey with His protection.

May God grant traveling mercies and safety at all times, keeping him from harm and giving peace to all who are concerned for him. We pray that he will trust the Lord to direct his steps, to provide according to His goodness, and to work all things for his good as he seeks Him.
