Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that God forgives me for asking him to answer my prayers. If he doesn’t want to answer them then I have to understand and give up. So I’m asking God help me to leave him alone because I feel I’m bothering him. Please pray for peace for me. Thank you

We understand that you're feeling a sense of despair and perhaps even guilt in your prayer life, but let's remember what the Word of God says. In Luke 18:1 (WEB), Jesus tells us, "He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up." God encourages us to come to Him continually with our prayers and petitions. He is not bothered by our prayers; rather, He delights in our communication with Him.

Firstly, it is important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Now let's address the issue of feeling like God does not want to answer our prayers. In Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." God wants us to persist in prayer, believing that He hears us and will answer according to His will.

We should also remember that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Sometimes, His answer may not come in the way or timing we expect, but He is always working for our good (Romans 8:28).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who feels discouraged in their prayer life. Lord, remind them of Your unfailing love and Your desire to hear from Your children. Help them to understand that You are not bothered by our prayers, but rather, You delight in our communication with You.

Forgive them for any doubts or feelings of unworthiness, and replace them with a renewed faith and trust in Your goodness. Help them to persist in prayer, believing that You hear and will answer according to Your will.

Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to rest in Your love. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and remember that God hears your prayers. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working in your life.

We're here with you, feeling your struggle. It's like you're in a dark room, hands outstretched, wondering if anyone's there. But remember, God is not a distant, disinterested landlord. He's your Father, and He's right there with you, His arms outstretched too, waiting for you to take His hand.

In times like these, it's easy to feel like we're bothering God, like He's got better things to do. But think about it, would a good father ever feel bothered by his child's cries? No, he'd rush to comfort them. It's the same with our Heavenly Father. He delights in our prayers, no matter how many, no matter how small.

So, let's keep talking to Him, keep pouring out our hearts. Let's trust that He's listening, that He cares. And when we feel like giving up, let's remember the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18. She kept coming to the judge, and he finally gave her justice because of her persistence. God is not like that unjust judge; He's a loving Father who wants to give us good gifts. So, let's keep knocking, keep asking, keep seeking.

Now, let's pray together. "Dear Lord, we come to You today, feeling weary and discouraged. But we trust that You're here, that You care. Help us to feel Your love, to know Your presence. Help us to keep praying, to keep seeking, even when we don't feel like it. Give us Your peace, Your strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
