My divorce rip me apart financially and i feel like im drowing this year hits after hit no car costing me so much to get to work over 2 hrs plus no car still have to pay pmt and insurance. My rent is backed up . God please lord I need a breakthrough its so heavy on me

We hear how heavy this burden feels on you and we are lifting you up together before the throne of grace. We thank God that your son and everyone involved are okay after the accident, even as we understand the financial weight that has followed with the loss of the car, the insurance appeal, the payments without a vehicle, the long commute to work, and the backed up rent on top of the pain of divorce. It is a lot to carry at once and it is understandable that you feel like you are drowning.

We want to remind you that God sees you and He invites you to bring every worry to Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. He is that higher rock when the hits keep coming.

We also noticed your request mentioned God and Lord but did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in prayer. It is in Jesus name that we can boldly ask for mercy, favor, and breakthrough.

We know divorce tears at the heart and at finances and God’s design for marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and He hates the brokenness that divorce brings because of what it does to people and families. Malachi 2:16 and Matthew 19:6 show God’s heart for marriage to remain unbroken, yet He is also compassionate and near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He can heal the hurt, restore what has been lost, and give you wisdom for the road ahead.

We are praying together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for our dear one who is overwhelmed. Lord You see the totaled car, the insurance appeal, the financial strain of still paying a payment and insurance with no vehicle, the cost and time of getting to work, the rent that is behind, and the deep wound of divorce. We ask for Your favor on the appeal and for provision for every need. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Provide transportation, provide for rent and daily needs, and open doors for help and godly counsel. Give wisdom to navigate the insurance process and the finances, and bring peace that surpasses understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Strengthen this heart to trust that Romans 8:28 is true, that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Lift this heavy burden and give rest, hope, and a clear path forward. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to bring every detail to Him with thanksgiving, and to reach out to your local church family for practical support and counsel with the insurance, transportation, and housing needs. God often provides through His people. Keep trusting Him one day at a time, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He has not left you and He will carry you through this heavy season.

We hear how heavy this has been for you and we are praying for you. Thank God your son and everyone else is okay after the accident, even as the aftermath with the car, the insurance appeal, the payments and the long commute to work is wearing you down. Carrying that alongside a divorce that has torn at your finances and now backed up rent would leave anyone feeling like they are drowning. It makes sense you are asking for breakthrough and for favor.

When everything hits at once it can help to have one other person look at the practical pieces with you so you are not sorting it all alone. If you have a trusted pastor, church benevolence ministry, or a local community agency, consider asking if they can connect you with someone who does basic financial counseling to help you prioritize the car loan, insurance appeal and rent conversations and to make a simple plan for the next few weeks. Many churches and agencies offer that kind of help at no cost and can also point you to legal aid resources for an insurance appeal. Reaching out early to your lender and landlord to explain the situation, even briefly, can sometimes open more options than waiting.

You are not forgotten in this. We are asking God to give you steadiness day by day.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the weight they are carrying, the need for transportation, for provision for rent and work, and for favor in the appeal. Give wisdom for each decision, provide for daily needs, and bring peace to their heart as they trust You. Guide their steps and surround them with helpful support. In Jesus' name, amen.

The heaviness of your trial has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have carried your burden to the throne of grace with you.

To be pressed on every side, with a car lost and yet payments remaining, with insurance withholding, with a long and costly way to work, with rent in arrears and the wounds of divorce still bleeding, is indeed to feel as though you are drowning. Yet even this flood is under the wheels of Divine Providence. Those wheels are intricate and their turning may seem to crush, but the axle stands forever fixed, and it is the axle of God's everlasting love toward His covenant people. The exterior of the wheel changes, but the center moves not. He sees the appeal you have filed, He sees the rent that is due, He sees the hours spent in travel and the weariness of heart, and not one of these things escapes His eye who looks through the smoke of the battle and manages all things for good to them that love Him.

You ask for a breakthrough, and we join you in asking the Lord for favor and daily provision, for wisdom with those who hold your claim, for a way to meet your obligations and to keep your employment, and for mercy in your home. We do not know the number of God's mercies, for they are innumerable, but we do know the rule of them, that every mercy comes by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses from all sin, and through Him alone we have access to the Father. If you are in Christ, you are not forgotten. Has God forgotten to be gracious. He has not. His promise may tarry, but it never fails.

The Lord has been your Teacher from your youth, and He is teaching you still in this school of affliction. He was chastened, but he was never cast out, but still continued as God's pupil. So may it be with you. Let this season make you to observe His wondrous works, even in small deliverances, and to declare them with your mouth and with your life. He pities His children as a father pities his own, and He records every wrong and every tear in His archives.

We are praying that the Lord will grant you favor in the appeal, supply what is needed for rent and for daily bread, provide safe and affordable passage to your work, and in His tender mercy lift this heavy weight and give you peace in the midst of it. Cast your burden upon Him, continue in prayer, seek the counsel and help of faithful brethren near you, and trust that He who commanded deliverance will in His time and way bring it to pass.
