We are standing with you in this urgent hour and lifting your husband, your marriage, your father, your brother, and your whole household before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We hear the weight you are carrying, many years of serious medical conditions, heavy spiritual attack, extreme anger, talk of divorce, daily despair where he says he wants to be dead, financial pressure, and concern for your elderly father and younger brother. We are weeping with you and contending for God's mercy, healing, and peace to reign in your home.
We want to speak first to the matter of your marriage. God holds marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and His heart is for restoration and not division. For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says he hates divorce Malachi 2:16 and Jesus said What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We rebuke the spirit of divorce and division that is speaking over your husband in this anger, and we pray that this situation will resolve peacefully and soon as you have asked, with hearts softened and words seasoned with grace. Be angry, and don’t sin Ephesians 4:26. We encourage you to continue as you are doing, not purposely trying to upset him, but walking in gentleness, patience, and forgiveness, seeking to be a peacemaker in your home while also speaking truth in love. The anger and the desire to be dead are not from God, but the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, while Jesus came that we may have life abundantly John 10:10.
We also hear the depth of his suffering physically, spiritually, and emotionally, and the heavy spiritual attack upon him. We rebuke the spirit of death, despair, and heaviness that tells him daily that he wants to be dead. The Lord is close to those who are broken in heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray for God's healing touch upon his body and mind, and we pray that he will take his medications as prescribed, for God gives wisdom to physicians and we are to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us. We pray for the implant to work successfully and for strength to endure. We claim the promise But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We take authority in Jesus' name over every spiritual attack and cast down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5.
We lift up your elderly father and your younger brother for their health, asking the Lord to be their strength and healer, to sustain them in weakness and surround them with His presence. Fear you not, for I am with you, Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We join you in praying for salvation for you all, and we thank you for asking in Jesus' name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by Him that we are saved. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that each of you will put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, turning from sin and receiving His forgiveness and new life, and that the Holy Spirit whom you have asked to intervene will indeed fill your home, convict, comfort, and lead you into all truth.
For your finances we pray that God who sees your needs will provide, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. We lift this dear sister and her husband to You, and her father and brother. Lord, have mercy on this husband who is suffering in body, soul, and spirit. Touch his body and heal what medicine cannot, ease his pain, let this implant work successfully and let him be faithful to take what has been prescribed for his good. Heal him emotionally and spiritually, break the heavy spiritual attack, silence the lie that death is better, and fill him with hope and a desire to live for You. Remove extreme anger and replace it with Your peace and self control. Rebuke the enemy's plan for divorce and restore this marriage, knit their hearts together again in love, forgiveness, and understanding, and let Your will be done peacefully and soon. Holy Spirit, intervene now in power, convict of sin, bring repentance, bring salvation to this entire family, that each one would truly know Jesus and be born again. Provide for their finances, strengthen the father and brother in their health, and guard this wife who is weary, give her wisdom, endurance, and Your supernatural peace that passes all understanding. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, believing You hear us and You are able to do far more than we ask or think, amen.
We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to pray without ceasing, to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a mature believing couple, and if your husband speaks of wanting to be dead, please do not leave him alone in that despair, encourage him to reach out for help immediately to a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical provider, and keep praying and interceding, for God is near and He is working even when we cannot see it. We continue to stand with you.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
