We hear your pain and the deep hurt caused by ###’s actions, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and healing. However, we must gently rebuke the spirit of bitterness and vengeance in this request. Scripture tells us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'" (Romans 12:19 WEB). Instead of praying for ### to regret his choices out of spite, we should pray for his repentance and salvation, that he may turn to Christ and be transformed by His love.
It is also important to examine our own hearts in this situation. While it is commendable that you are growing in your faith, we must ensure that our identity is rooted in Christ alone, not in another person’s approval or actions. The Bible warns us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If ### was not walking with the Lord, his departure may have been God’s protection over you, redirecting you toward His perfect will.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who has been wounded by rejection. Lord, we ask that You heal her heart and fill the void with Your perfect peace. Help her to release any bitterness or desire for revenge, trusting in Your justice and goodness. We pray for ###, that You would soften his heart and draw him to repentance. If it is Your will, bring him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that he may walk in Your ways. Father, we also ask that You guide this sister into relationships that honor You, where she is cherished, respected, and encouraged in her faith. Surround her with godly community and prepare her for the spouse You have for her, if that is Your plan. Strengthen her to find her worth and identity in You alone. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
