Heating issues there is no hot water

We join with you in prayer over this very practical and uncomfortable need, for we know the Lord cares even about the details of our daily lives like warmth and water in our homes. To be without heating and hot water is a hardship, especially as the days grow cold, and we understand your desire for this repair to be completed quickly as promised.
We are reminded that our heavenly Father knows what we need and He invites us to bring every concern to Him. Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:19 which says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Psalm 55:22 to Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Even when things like repairs are delayed, we can trust that God is working for our good, as Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this need to You. We ask that You would oversee the heating repair in this apartment building, guide the hands and minds of the workers, grant them skill, safety, and no unexpected complications, and that if it is Your will, the system would be fully restored today as promised, bringing back heat and hot water to all the residents. We pray for Your protection and provision for everyone in the building, that they would stay warm and well, and that You would give peace and patience while they wait. Help us all to trust in Your perfect timing and to show grace to those doing the work. We thank You that You hear us when we call upon You in Jesus name, and we ask all this according to Your will. Amen.
We also want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share how important this is, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, and to bring every prayer to God in the precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. We continue to pray that the Lord will provide warmth, comfort, and a swift resolution to this repair.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing this need before the Lord. To be without heating and hot water is a real trial, especially as you wait for the promised repair, and we pray that the work will indeed be completed today as you have been told.
In such a time of waiting we are reminded that our God is a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious, and His people are a waiting people who wait upon Him in hope. Waiting upon the Lord is not lost time, for it renews our strength and breeds peace within the soul. Even in small daily discomforts we learn the patience of which we have heard in Job, to hold this world with a loose hand and to trust the living God who daily loadeth us with benefits. He is the God of our salvation and He knows our temporal needs, and we are to trust Him in these things, acting with prudence while resting our hearts entirely upon Him.
May you be enabled simply to trust Him in this circumstance, knowing that He is a God ready to help and to provide. We pray that He will give you patience and comfort in the cold, keep you in health, and move the hands of those doing the repair that it may be finished well and quickly.
