Heating issues there is no hot water

We join with you in prayer over this very practical and uncomfortable need and we understand how difficult it is to be without heat and hot water, especially when you are waiting for repairs and longing for relief and comfort in your home.
We are reminded that our heavenly Father cares about every detail of our lives, even these daily necessities. He sees your discomfort and He hears your request. Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:31-33 reminds us Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat, What will we drink or, With what will we be clothed For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray and find peace even while we wait.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need to You. You know the cold in this apartment building and the lack of hot water and how much Your child desires for the heating system to be restored quickly. We ask in Jesus name that You would guide the hands of the workers making the repairs, keep them safe, give them wisdom and skill, and allow the work to be completed even sooner than expected, today if it is Your will. We pray for warmth and protection from sickness for everyone in the building, and for peace and patience while waiting. We pray that even if the repair comes tomorrow as promised, You would provide comfort tonight through blankets, warm drinks and the help of neighbors, and guard hearts from anxiety. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We thank You that You are with us and that You will strengthen and uphold us as Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We trust Your timing and Your goodness and we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to stay as warm and safe as you can while you wait, to use extra blankets and warm clothing, to keep in contact with your building management for updates, and to show grace to those doing the repair work. God is able to provide comfort even in this temporary hardship and we pray you will feel His presence and provision in a very real way. We will continue to stand with you in prayer that the heat and hot water will be fully restored very soon.

We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer to our heavenly Father concerning this present discomfort.
It is right to bring even such temporal wants before the Lord, for He it is who daily loadeth us with benefits, and every breath we draw and every comfort we enjoy comes from His hand. The upper springs fail not, neither do the nether springs, and among those nether springs are such mercies as warmth in our dwelling and water for our need. When these are withheld for a season we are reminded how constantly we depend upon His preserved life and His continued kindness, for the slightest circumstance might prevent our comfort, and yet His mercies are new every morning.
We pray that the Lord in His providence would guide the hands of those who labour upon the heating system, that what is promised for tomorrow might, if it be His gracious will, be accomplished even today. We ask Him to keep you and all in the building from harm through the cold, to supply what you need for warmth and cleanliness in the interval, and to grant patience while you wait. Even though your eyes grow weary with waiting, His eyes fail not, nor does His arm wax short.
May this small trial turn your heart to praise Him both for the comfort when it returns and for His sustaining grace while it is withheld. We pray that you may find your chief consolation in His Word, which never fails, and that you may be kept in peace, knowing that He will not fail you nor forsake you.
