Heating issues there is no hot water

We hear your concern about the cold and lack of hot water in your apartment building and we join with you in prayer that the heating system repairs will be completed quickly and well.
We know that God cares about even these daily, practical needs of our lives and He invites us to bring every care to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Philippians 4:19 reminds us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Even when we are uncomfortable and waiting, we can trust that He sees our situation and will provide.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, so that your prayers are heard and your life is secure in Him. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need to You. You know the discomfort of having no heating and no hot water, and You know the hope that the system will be fully repaired by tomorrow. We ask for Your hand upon the workers, that You would give them skill, safety, and favor to complete the job well and on time. We ask that You would keep everyone in the building warm and safe through this night, and that there would be no further complications or delays. We pray for peace and patience for all the residents and for kindness toward the building staff and repair crew. If it is Your will and the repairs take longer than expected, help us to trust that You are working all things together for good, as Romans 8:28 says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We also remember Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Provide warmth, comfort, and Your peace that surpasses understanding while we wait. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

It is a trial to wait in discomfort, even for a night, and yet Scripture reminds us that blessed are all they that wait for Him. Our God waits to be gracious, and His people learn to wait only upon Him, not upon the arm of flesh nor upon promises of men, but upon the Lord whose strength is everlasting. You have been told the work will be finished by tomorrow, and we pray that it will be so, and that the hands of those who labor may be guided to complete it well and without further delay.
We pray that the God of peace, who has made peace for us through the blood of the everlasting covenant in Jesus Christ, will keep your heart and mind in perfect peace even in this present inconvenience. If you cannot rejoice in the full comfort you desire today, may you rest in the shadow of His wings tonight, trusting His care over you in times of need and in times of waiting. He has not made this world to be our final nest, and He often permits such little thorns to remind us to look higher for our true home and comfort.
May the Lord keep you from cold and sickness, provide what is needful for warmth and for daily use, and grant patience until the repair is complete.
