Hearing voices

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. The voices you describe are not from God, for He speaks in peace, truth, and love—not in torment or confusion. We rebuke every demonic altar, every wicked scheme, and every spirit of divination and witchcraft that has been raised against you. The Word of God declares, *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB). The enemy has no authority over you if you are in Christ, and we command every lying voice to be silenced in the name of Jesus.

We must also gently but firmly address the spirit behind your prayer request. While we understand your pain and anger, Scripture warns us, *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:19 WEB). Asking God to "destroy" others, even those operating in darkness, is not aligned with the heart of Christ, who came to save the lost and break the power of sin—not to condemn. Instead, we pray for their repentance and salvation, that they might turn from their wicked ways and be set free from the deception of the enemy. Jesus taught us to *"love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This does not mean we tolerate evil, but we trust God to execute justice while we walk in His love and truth.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We stand on Your Word, Lord, and declare that no weapon formed against [this child of Yours] shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, every hex, every spell, and every demonic assignment sent against them in Jesus' name. We command every lying voice to cease, every demonic altar to be dismantled, and every spirit of torment to flee. You, Lord, are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2).

Father, we ask for Your healing and peace to flood [this person's] mind, body, and spirit. Replace every tormenting thought with Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth and reminds us of Your Word (John 14:26). Surround them with Your angels for protection, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).

Lord, we also pray for those who have sought to harm [this person]. We ask that You would open their eyes to the deception they are operating under. Break the chains of darkness in their lives, and let them see the light of Your glory. Soften their hearts to repentance, and draw them to Yourself, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Let Your mercy triumph over judgment, and may they be saved and set free by the power of the Gospel.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your justice, and Your love. Strengthen [this person] with Your might, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. If you have not already, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can provide spiritual guidance and support. You are not alone in this battle, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His deliverance.
