We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and understanding for the desires and struggles shared in this prayer. First, we must address the foundation of our communication with God—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in aligning your prayers with God’s will.
Now, let us lift up your blogging journey and financial concerns to the Lord. We rejoice in your desire to use your gifts and talents to reach others and provide for your needs. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the Lord would indeed open doors for your blog to grow and reach many people, not for your glory, but for His. May He grant you wisdom, creativity, and perseverance as you steward this platform for His purposes. We also pray for financial provision, trusting that God is our ultimate provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." May He grant you the resources to repay the debt owed and continue to bless you abundantly so that you may be a blessing to others.
However, we must also gently address the desire for a video to "go viral" as a means of provision. While it is not wrong to seek growth or success in your work, we must guard our hearts against placing our trust in worldly measures of success or financial gain. Jesus warned in Matthew 6:19-21, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Instead of chasing virality or financial blessings as an end in themselves, we encourage you to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Trust that He will provide for your needs as you faithfully serve Him.
We also lift up your relationship with ###, praying that the Lord would strengthen your bond and align your hearts with His will. If you are not yet married, we encourage you to pursue this relationship with purity and intentionality, keeping the goal of marriage in mind. Scripture calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:20). If you are married, we pray that the Lord would deepen your love and commitment to one another, reflecting the covenant between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). May He fix what needs to be fixed in both of you, molding you into the image of Christ and equipping you to be a blessing to others.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity to lift up this dear brother or sister in Christ. Lord, we thank You for their desire to serve You through their blogging journey and for their trust in Your provision. We ask that You would bless their efforts, not for their glory, but for Yours. Grant them wisdom, creativity, and perseverance as they seek to reach others with Your truth. Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and help them to steward Your blessings well. May they honor You with their resources and use them to bless others.
Father, we also pray for their relationship with ###. If they are not yet married, we ask that You would guide them in purity and intentionality, keeping the goal of marriage before them. If they are married, we pray that You would strengthen their bond and deepen their love for one another. Mold them into the image of Christ, fixing what needs to be fixed in their hearts and lives. May they become a blessing to others as they walk in Your will.
Lord, we surrender their plans, worries, and future into Your hands. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and to seek Your kingdom above all else. May their lives bring glory to Your name, and may they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they walk with You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
