Hear my prayer Lord

Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with pain in my heart. I come to you and ask that you heal all the pain I've caused ### over the years. Please remove his stubborn heart towards me. Create in us a new heart and renew our spirits. O'Lord. Draw yourself closer to us and to one another. Strengthen our bond. Let us see each other in a new light. Soften our hearts towards eachother. Guide us back to treating eachother the way one should be treated. Help us find the right words to communicate to one another. Remove any obstacle that is hindering our relationship. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, i trust you, I love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen

We hear the deep longing in your heart and stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this burden together in Jesus' name. Your prayer reflects a sincere desire for restoration, and we join you in seeking God’s will for this relationship. However, we must first examine whether this relationship aligns with biblical principles, for the Lord’s ways are perfect, and His Word is our guide.

Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33, Genesis 2:24). If this relationship is outside of marriage, whether through fornication, adultery, or an unbiblical union, it must be addressed with truth and repentance. The Lord calls us to holiness, and any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we must first repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting Him to cleanse and restore (1 John 1:9).

If this is a marriage, we rejoice in your desire for reconciliation and stand with you in prayer. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and delights in healing broken relationships when both parties submit to His will. Yet even in marriage, restoration requires humility, repentance, and a commitment to godly love. We pray that both of you would seek the Lord individually, allowing Him to soften hearts and renew minds (Romans 12:2). Communication must be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6), and forgiveness must flow freely, as Christ has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32).

If this is not a marriage, we must ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? Are you both believers, committed to pursuing Christ together? The Bible warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), for spiritual unity is the foundation of a God-glorifying relationship. If this is a courtship, is the goal marriage? If not, we must rebuke the spirit of compromise and encourage you to seek the Lord’s best, a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to His Word.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this situation. Lord, we ask that You reveal any sin or disobedience that may be hindering Your blessing. If this relationship is not in alignment with Your Word, give wisdom and courage to walk away, trusting You to heal and restore. If this is a marriage, we pray for reconciliation, soften hearts, remove bitterness, and replace it with Your love. Father, create in both of them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Teach them to communicate with grace, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to love as Christ loves the Church.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of stubbornness, pride, or unforgiveness that may be at work. We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), but only if it is Your will. If this is not Your plan, give them the strength to surrender it to You, trusting that Your ways are higher (Isaiah 55:8-9). Draw them closer to You, Father, and let Your peace rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15).

We thank You for Your mercy and grace, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel, spend time in Scripture, and surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life. The Lord is faithful, and He will guide your steps if you trust in Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this relationship is not honoring to God, do not despair, He has a plan for your future, and it is good (Jeremiah 29:11). Surrender it to Him, and watch how He works.

We were grateful to read your honest prayer. We hear how much you want healing for the hurt you have caused and a softer, more open way forward together. That desire to take responsibility and to ask God to shape both hearts according to His will is a humble place to stand.

Wanting a new start while old pain is still present can feel very tangled. In our experience, forgiveness often has two parts. There is the decision to let go of keeping score and to treat the other person as valuable, and then there is the slower work where resentment and hurt feelings are gradually replaced by compassion. Both take time, and they do not always move at the same speed for two people. Learning to communicate again is part of that same slow work. It helps most when each person feels safe to share what is really on their heart without blame, and safe to listen without having to defend right away.

One small step that may help this week is to set aside one calm, unhurried time to talk, agreed on in advance. You might each take a few minutes to share one thought or need in simple, kind words while the other listens without interrupting, then switch. Praying quietly beforehand for the right words and a listening heart can make that space more gentle.

Father, we bring this marriage before You and ask for Your mercy and guidance. Heal what has been hurt, soften where there has been hardness, and teach them how to speak and listen with patience and grace. Lead them in Your will and renew their hearts day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and your sorrow over pain caused to another is itself a tender evidence that the Lord is working in your heart. You have done well to bring this burden to Him, and to ask that your prayer be adjusted according to the will of God, for that is where all true peace is found.

Hear this blessed whisper which God gives to every penitent soul, There is forgiveness with Him. As it is written, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. This is not a forgiveness from man, which you may or may not obtain, but a divine forgiveness, surprising and complete. If you tremble and shake for fear, and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, it is to be had now, through Jesus Christ alone. Whatever your sins have been, however you have grieved another and grieved the Lord, there is forgiveness. It is not a forgiveness up to a certain point or up to a certain date, but a full and eternal forgiveness when a sinner trusts in Christ, so complete that the debt is blotted out as though it had never been. The Lord not only forgives at the first, but He continues daily to forgive those who come to Him in repentance and faith. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, through the blood of Christ who died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

In that same grace, God alone can create in us a new heart and renew a right spirit within us. No man can soften his own heart or the heart of another. That is the work of the Holy Spirit. Therefore pray first and chiefly that both you and the one you have hurt may be drawn closer to Christ Himself, that you may each know the forgiveness that is with God and be made new in Him. Where offense has been given, seek forgiveness honestly and humbly, both of God and of the one you have wounded, without demanding any response in return. Forgiving one another, even as Christ forgave you, is the pattern set before us, and it is gloriously ennobling to the soul that practices it.

Concerning your relationship, I urge you to submit it wholly to the Lord and to His Word. Bring your bond before Him not only for comfort and closeness, but for cleansing and conformity to His will. God has ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. If you are not so joined, seek purity and holiness above all, and ask the Lord to guide you into what is right rather than only what is desired. If you are married, seek grace to love and cherish as Christ loves His church. In either case, pray that every obstacle be removed only as it pleases Him, and that your communication may be truthful, gentle, and seasoned with grace.

Let us pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank You that there is forgiveness with You. We confess our sins and ask for that great forgiveness which You give freely to all who trust in Your Son. Create in this dear soul a clean heart and renew a right spirit within. Draw near, Lord, and draw this one near to Yourself. Grant repentance where there has been wrong, and grant healing where there has been hurt. Soften what is hard, enlighten what is dark, and teach right words in due season. Above all, let Your will be done in this relationship. Lead into holiness, into truth, and into that which honors You, whether that be restoration in a godly way, or a path of surrender and obedience that You appoint. Make both lives conformed to Christ, that Your name may be glorified. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord, and we thank you for asking that your prayer be shaped according to the will of God. That desire is the right starting place, for our first need is always reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ alone, who came bringing good tidings of remission of sins, righteousness and adoption, opening the way for us who were enemies to be made friends with God.

You have been honest about pain you have caused, and that honesty matters. Scripture calls us to examine ourselves, to take responsibility for our part, and to come before God in humility rather than exalting ourselves. The humble heart finds forgiveness, while the boastful heart suffers shipwreck even in harbor. Ask the Lord not only to soften the other person's heart, but to create a new heart in you, to give you a clear sight of where you have wounded another, and to lead you to repentance and, where possible, to seek forgiveness directly and with gentleness.

We pray that both of you would be drawn closer to Christ first, and then to one another in a way that honors Him. True renewal does not come from asking God to simply remove an obstacle or change another person, but from both hearts being made good and attentive to His voice. For this we need continually the help of Scripture, which acts as a charm from the Spirit to steady the soul. Consider what you take in each day, whether it is Psalms and the teaching of the Church or the songs and counsel of the world, for evil communications corrupt good manners and great is the difference between a soul nourished in the Church and one lingering elsewhere. Give yourselves to what builds faith, to prayer, to gathering with faithful believers, and to counsel that speaks the truth in love.

We also pray for your communication. Love, as Scripture describes it, is patient and kind, not self seeking, and it adorns every other virtue. Ask God to teach you both to speak the truth in love, to listen well, to be slow to anger, and to treat one another as those who bear the image of God. If there is a bond to be strengthened, let it be strengthened through giving and receiving what is good, as those who trade not only in earthly words but in spiritual grace that is completed in heaven. That means speaking and acting in ways that are pure, honest, and honorable before the Lord.

We do not ask God to bless any relationship simply because we desire it, but to shape every relationship according to His design and His will. He has shown us that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. Whatever your situation, we pray that you will pursue reconciliation and closeness only in holiness, in purity, and with wise counsel from mature believers and pastors who can walk with you both. If you are married, seek restoration with faithfulness and perseverance. If you are not, seek clarity with restraint and integrity, not pressing forward outside the boundaries God has set for your good.

So we pray with you: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, have mercy on both hearts. Forgive sins, wash away what has been done wrong, and do not allow either to return to enmity with You or with one another. Create clean hearts and renew right spirits. Soften what is hard, heal what is wounded, and grant wisdom to see each other in a new light through Your grace. Teach right words, remove what hinders according to Your perfect will, and guide every step so that Your name is honored and both lives are conformed to Christ. Help each to honor You above all, to walk separate from what is unclean, and to remain Your friends who continue faithfully with You. We trust Your goodness, Your timing, and Your answer, which is always better than our request. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Your prayer reflects a humble and honest heart, and it is right that you ask for it to be shaped according to the will of God. That willingness to let God adjust your desires is where healing begins.

God does not want a distant or ritual connection with you. He invites you to know Him as Father. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He taught them to say Our Father, and that shows the close, loving relationship God desires with you. He does not want you to relate to Him through rules and routines, but through love, trusting how deeply He loves you and learning to love Him in return.

You asked for a new heart and a renewed spirit, and Scripture points us to that same prayer. Only God can create a clean heart within us. The way He has made relationship with Him possible is through the blood of Jesus. Forgiveness does not come from reflection or effort alone, but from what Christ has done. Through Him your sins can be fully forgiven and removed, not merely covered but taken away, so that you stand before God as though you had never sinned. That forgiveness is complete, and with it He also gives power to turn from sin and to walk in new life. Receiving that forgiveness for yourself is the foundation for everything else.

That foundation matters because your relationship with God is primary. When that relationship is right, other relationships begin to find their proper balance. Many struggles between people can be traced back to a need for a deeper, more surrendered walk with the Lord. The fruit of love, patience, and kindness is not produced by trying harder in your own strength, but as a natural result of abiding in Christ and serving Him in the newness of life He gives.

From that place, God can work in the bond you are concerned about. True forgiveness follows His example. It is not a matter of counting offenses, but a matter of the heart. When God forgives, He does not bring the offense up again. He calls us to forgive in the same way, from the heart, with a spirit that is willing to release bitterness. If you are willing, you can ask Him to give you that spirit of forgiveness, to take away hardness and to soften both hearts. He is able to give you the capacity to forgive as you have been forgiven.

He also wants your relationship with others to be enhanced by your relationship with Him. That means treating one another with unity, compassion, and courtesy, not returning hurt for hurt, and seeking words that build up rather than tear down. Ask Him to guide your communication so that you speak truth in love and listen with grace. Ask Him to remove obstacles, but also to reveal what is according to His purposes.

We will pray that God draws both of you closer to Himself first, that you each know His complete forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, and that He creates new hearts within you. We pray that He softens what is hard, heals the pain that has been caused, and teaches you to walk in love toward one another in a way that honors Him. If this is a romantic relationship, we pray it will be guided by His design for lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, with purity and honor, and that any bond would be strengthened only as it aligns with His will. Above all, we pray that His will be done and that you both find your deepest security and hope in Him.

Father, we bring this heart before You in the name of Jesus. You know the pain that has been caused and the longing for healing. We ask You to forgive through the blood of Christ, to create clean hearts and renew right spirits, and to make Your Father love known in a personal way. Give a willing spirit to forgive as You have forgiven, soften hearts, give wisdom for words, and lead every relationship to reflect Your holiness and love. Let Your will be done. Amen.
