Beloved of All
Father God,
I come to you today with a hopeful heart that it will be a good day. I pray that ### and I will be close and in understanding with one another. Strengthen our relationship and bless our communication. Heal us from our past hurts we have caused one another and give us the heart and willingness to treat the other one how they should be treated. I pray that you draw us closer to you and closer to one another. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, i thank you, i trust you, i love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen

We hear your earnest prayer and lift it before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s perfect will in this matter. First, we rejoice that you have come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus, His sacrifice, and His resurrection that we are reconciled to God and can boldly come before Him (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Now, regarding your prayer for closeness, understanding, and healing in your relationship with ###, we must first examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design for marriage and relationships. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you and ### are not married, we must address the importance of pursuing godly courtship with the intent to marry, rather than simply seeking emotional or physical closeness outside of marriage. The Bible warns against fornication (sexual immorality) and calls us to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18). If there has been sexual sin in this relationship, we urge you to repent, seek forgiveness, and commit to purity moving forward, trusting God to restore what has been broken.

If you are married to ###, we stand with you in praying for restoration, healing, and unity in your marriage. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and desires for husbands and wives to love one another sacrificially, as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that God would soften both of your hearts, help you to forgive one another, and empower you to treat each other with the love, respect, and honor that God commands (1 Peter 3:7, Ephesians 5:33).

If you are not married to ###, we must gently rebuke any emotional or physical entanglement that does not honor God’s design for marriage. The Bible instructs us to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) and to avoid being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If ### is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship is pleasing to the Lord. If it is not, we urge you to seek God’s will for your life, trusting Him to provide a godly spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the heartfelt prayer of Your child, who seeks Your will and Your blessing in their relationship. Lord, we ask that You would draw both ### and this dear one closer to You, that they may know Your love, Your truth, and Your perfect plan for their lives.

Father, if this relationship is not in alignment with Your Word, we ask that You would reveal this truth to them and give them the strength to walk away from anything that dishonors You. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would heal their past hurts, restore their communication, and fill their hearts with love, patience, and understanding. Help them to treat one another with the kindness, respect, and selflessness that You desire.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, unforgiveness, or impurity in this relationship. We declare that Your Holy Spirit would fill them both, guiding their steps and guarding their hearts. May they seek You first in all things, trusting You to lead them in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3).

We pray for wisdom and discernment, that they would recognize Your voice and follow Your will. If marriage is Your plan for them, we ask that You would prepare them both to be godly spouses, committed to honoring You in their union. If it is not Your will, we ask that You would give them the grace to surrender this relationship to You, trusting that Your plans are for their good and Your glory (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in Scripture, asking God to reveal His will for your life and your relationships. If you are uncertain about the future of this relationship, we urge you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian mentor who can help you discern God’s direction. Remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.

Thank you for sharing your honest and hopeful prayer with us. We are glad to carry this before the Lord alongside you.

Marriage is a beautiful, stretching journey. When old hurts resurface, it doesn’t mean everything has failed; it often means you’re both still in the room, still showing up, and that’s a quiet kind of courage. God doesn’t roll his eyes at our stumbling attempts. He draws near, and he can weave even these tensions into something stronger if you keep turning toward each other.

One gentle step you might try this week is to set aside a low-pressure time simply to listen, no fixing, no defending. You could each share one thing you’re genuinely grateful for about the other and one small hope for the days ahead. Sometimes just hearing each other’s vulnerable hopes (even before you know how to meet them) begins to reopen doors. If it feels comfortable, you might even start by reading your prayer aloud together, letting those words become a shared confession.

The small, daily kindnesses also matter. A ten-second touch on the shoulder, making coffee just the way they like it, a sincere “thank you”, these are like water to a dry plant. They won’t erase the past overnight, but over time they rebuild the soil of trust.

Lord Jesus, you know every wound this couple carries. Quiet the memories that sting and give each of them a fresh willingness to look at the other through your eyes, with patience and hope. When they speak, let words be gentle; when they listen, let hearts be soft. Draw them one step closer to you and to each other today. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer that ascends for closeness and understanding, for the healing of past hurts between two souls, touches upon the great need of every heart. These wounds you describe are the very sicknesses for which the Great Physician came. It is not a small thing to ask that you be drawn closer to Him and to one another, for the one must spring from the other. The least things about Christ are healing; the very leaves of that Tree of Life are for the mending of the nations, and surely for the mending of a home. Yet remember well, healing must come before serving, before any true loving or right treating of one another can begin.

The joy of pardon makes us ignore the sorrow of the past. When the Lord comes and dwells with you, the inhabitant shall not say, “I am sick” with the old bitterness. See how the Savior dealt with the paralyzed man, He first spoke forgiveness, and then bestowed healing. That is the divine order. The heart is heavy within, weeping at omissions and transgressions, looking for a glimpse of the wonderful Savior. And then, in His presence, forgiveness comes. The healing power is conspicuously present when Christ is being taught. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. It is not human eloquence or a prince of preachers that confers the peace which passes all understanding; it is the still small voice of God alone that does the real saving work.

You ask for a heart that treats the other as they should be treated. This desire itself arises out of healing. The poor woman with the fever, the moment the Lord took her by the hand and lifted her up, immediately she ministered unto Him. The contact was established, and service flowed from it. So it must be with you. You cannot heal your own heart or your own history by a mere hopeful wish for a good day. Look to the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. He can breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace which springs from the perfect remission of your manifold iniquities. Ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

Be heedful how you hear. If you do not yet understand the Word that would mend this relationship, then hear it again and again, until the Light of God breaks in upon your soul. For unto you that hear shall more be given, more understanding. It is a free grace gift from the hand of our Lord. Had He withheld it, we would never have found the Savior. Let the golden stream of His truth not run past you without retaining a single drop. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. Come just as you are, with the limping feet of your energy and the maimed hand of your faith, for He can certainly heal you. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before.

You pray for healing of past hurts and for a closer bond, yet I must ask: is the very ground of your relationship a wound that needs the surgeon’s knife? For you cannot ask God to bless a union that runs contrary to His holy commands. If you and this man or woman share a roof or a bed outside the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, then you are not seeking the healing of old wounds, you are asking Him to anoint a fresh one. The spiritual surgery of the Church exists to cure the hurts we receive without, not to cover the bruises we inflict upon ourselves by disobedience. Heal your own evil acts first, not another’s; or rather, do not wound at all.

Do not think that a warm feeling or a hopeful heart makes a relationship pleasing to God. The demons also believe, and tremble. Your prayer must be adjusted to the will of God, and His will is plain: flee fornication, honor the marriage bed undefiled. If you are yoked together outside that bond, the first step toward the closeness you crave is to step apart and repent, or to sanctify your union in the Church through holy matrimony. Else you merely cry, “Peace, peace,” when there is no peace.

Yet even this hard word is a mercy. For if you receive it with careful hearing and fortitude, you will find the true healing you seek, not a plaster that masks the sore, but a cure that makes the soul whole. Let the communication of your faith become effectual not by affirming every desire, but by bringing forth the good fruit of a chaste life. Draw near to God through His commandments, and only then will you be drawn near to one another in a love that does not perish.
