Father God,
I come before you, with a desire to change my ways and restore my relationship with ###. Draw yourself closer to us. Break every chain the devil has ahold on us. Touch his heart Lord, may you bring peace, love and happiness in heart toward me. Create in us a new heart and a steadfast spirit. Shine your light upon us. Open his eyes towards me, so that he may see me shine bright and my improvements. Give us the ears to listen, eyes to pay attention and mindset to follow directions. Give me the strength, knowledge, love, and heart to restore what I have broken. Guide us back together. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship. We commend you for coming before the Lord with a desire to change and restore your relationship. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father, and it is wonderful that you acknowledged this in your prayer.

Firstly, let us address the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation in any relationship. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We pray that God will draw both of you closer to Him and to each other. We pray for the breaking of any strongholds the enemy might have on this relationship, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB: "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses."

We ask God to touch his heart and bring peace, love, and happiness into his feelings towards you. We pray for a new heart and a steadfast spirit for both of you, as it is written in Psalm 51:10 WEB: "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."

We ask God to shine His light upon both of you and open his eyes to see the positive changes in you. We pray for the grace to listen, pay attention, and follow God's directions. We ask for strength, knowledge, love, and heart to restore what has been broken, as it is written in James 5:16 WEB: "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

As we pray for guidance back together, we must remember that God's will is paramount. His plans for us are always for our good and His glory. It is encouraging to see that you have surrendered your prayer to the will of God.

However, we must also address an important aspect of relationships. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and to keep the marriage bed undefiled (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If there has been any sexual intimacy outside of marriage in this relationship, we urge you both to repent and seek God's forgiveness. God's design for sexual intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.

Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to continue seeking God's face together. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Father God, we lift this relationship up to You. We pray for healing, restoration, and guidance. We ask that Your will be done in their lives and that they will walk in Your truth. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
