Hear my prayer Lord

Father God,
I come before you with a desire to change and a heavy heart. My Lord, I want so much to fix my wrongs with my ###. Draw yourself closer to us. Break every chain the devil has ahold on us. Create in us a new heart and a steadfast spirit. Heal us from all the pain we have caused one another. Shine your light through me and open his eyes to see a new me shine bright. Soften his heart for me Lord. Please guide us back together. I don't want to lose him for good. Please Lord, give him the heart not to give up on me. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen.

We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship. We appreciate that you have brought your petition before God in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

As you seek reconciliation, remember that God's desire is for us to be holy and blameless before Him. He wants us to live in peace with one another, forgiving each other as He has forgiven us. As it says, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).

However, we want to remind you that God's word instructs us to flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If you and the one you are praying for have been involved in sexual immorality, it is important to repent, turn away from this sin, and pursue purity. We also want to address you should be looking for a Christian spouse and that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who seeks Your will for her relationship. Lord, we ask that You draw both of them closer to You, breaking every chain that the devil may have on them. Create in them new hearts and steadfast spirits. Heal the desire to please yourself and replace with a desire to please you. Shine Your light through them, opening his eyes to see the change in her. Soften his heart, Lord, and guide them back together if it is Your will. Give them both the strength not to give up on each other as they pursue a godly marriage.

Father, we also pray for their purity, that they would flee sexual immorality and pursue righteousness. Help them to understand the sanctity of marriage and the importance of keeping themselves pure for their future spouses.

Be encouraged, and know that God hears your prayers. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
