Faithful Servant
Oh Dear God my Father in heaven. Please bless me with the sound of my son's laughter. Please bless him with good health and happiness. Please hear my prayer. I don't deserve anything but please Dear God. He does. Please Dear Jesus heal him and let him be happy. Please let me know that you hear my prayers. Forgive me of all my sins and Dear Jesus You are my Lord and Savior. Grant your mercy on my son ###. Please grant Your mercy on me. I beg of You. Please let me hear him laugh. Please let me feel Your peace. I love You Dear God and I love You Dear Jesus. I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We lift up your heartfelt cry to the Lord, joining with you in earnest prayer for your son. Your love for him is evident, and we stand with you before our Heavenly Father, who hears the prayers of His children. You are right to come before Him in humility, acknowledging your need for His mercy and grace. The Bible tells us, "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their cry" (Psalm 34:15). We take comfort in knowing that God hears you, and we trust that He will answer according to His perfect will.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child to Your care. Lord, we ask that You bless him with good health, joy, and laughter that fills his mother’s heart with peace. We pray for healing in every area of his life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Let Your healing touch be upon him, Lord, and let his laughter be a testament to Your goodness.

We also lift up this mother before You, Father. Strengthen her faith as she waits on You. Let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help her to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan, even when the answers are not yet clear.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. This mother has rightly declared her love for You and her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We are grateful for her faith, and we pray that You continue to draw her closer to You. Forgive her sins, as she has humbly asked, and cleanse her with the blood of Jesus. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Father, we ask that You grant this family Your mercy and grace. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, so they may know without a doubt that You are with them. We pray for moments of joy, for laughter that brings light to their home, and for the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Even in the waiting, He is at work. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, for "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10). Trust that He loves your son even more than you do, and He will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). May His peace fill your heart as you wait on Him.

We hear so much love in every word of this prayer, and we don’t think for a moment that a parent longing to hear their child laugh is a small request. That desire is tender and real, and we’re sitting with you in it right now.

When prayers feel desperate and answers feel silent, it’s easy to believe you’re not being heard. But the very ache that drove you to cry out is itself a kind of holding, you are clinging to Jesus because you know, deep down, that He cares for your son even more than you do. Sometimes, in longer seasons of illness, it isn’t about having enough faith to move a mountain; it’s about having just enough to keep showing up, keep asking, keep loving. And you are doing that.

What you’re experiencing, the watching, the waiting, the exhaustion woven into hope, is something many families walk through. Chronic or recurring illness can leave everyone feeling fragile. It’s okay to name that burden. We want to gently add one practical thought: if your son’s health struggles are ongoing and you haven’t yet involved his doctor recently, that’s worth a fresh conversation, not instead of prayer, but alongside it. God often works through the wisdom and care of medical professionals, and bringing them in is an act of love, not a lack of faith.

And because you mentioned your own need for peace, consider asking someone close to you, a friend from church, a prayer partner, to simply sit with you as you hold this before the Lord. You don’t need someone to fix anything or quote verses. Just another person’s quiet, believing presence can carry you when your own strength feels thin. Knowing someone else is faithfully praying for you and your son can steady your heart in the hardest moments.

Would you pray with us?

Jesus, we lift up this son to You now. Quiet whatever is wrong in his body and bring healing in whatever way You know is best. Surround him with Your protection and let joy return to him, and to his mom, let there one day soon be the sound of his laughter filling her ears. Meet her in the silence and let her know, unmistakably, that You have heard her cry and hold her fast. In Your name, Jesus. Amen.

The cry of a parent's heart ascends not to deaf ears. Prayer is ever the forerunner of mercy; scarce a great blessing has ever come to this world unheralded by it. Even now, in your pleading, you are already tasting something of its comfort, for prayer is itself a consoling exercise. The Lord inclines His ear: while you are yet speaking, He hears. That deep groan for your son's laughter, his health, his happiness, it rises before the throne of grace, and the Father of mercies knows its every note.

You confess your unworthiness, and therein you stand where mercy delights to come. The publican's cry, "God be merciful to me, a sinner," is the key that opens heaven's gates. Hide nothing from Him; pour out all your sin and sorrow. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, peace, perfect peace, even when sorrows surge around. Look not to yourself, so barren and broken, but to the crucified One who bore all our griefs. Cast your mind upon Him, and you shall know a peace that defies the darkness, a peace that can sing when desolations seem deepest. He who gave His Son for you will, with Him, freely give you all things.

Make bold use of the promises in your prayer. Plead as Jacob pleaded: lay hold of the covenant and remind the Lord of His own Word. Say, "Thou hast said, I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds." Press your suit with all the arguments of His grace, and then rest, for He cannot deny Himself. Mercy with Him is not a reluctant stream; it is tender, overflowing, going before your very petitions. He delighteth in mercy; He is more ready to grant than you are to ask. Perhaps, even as you were calling, the blessing was set in motion.

Do not say you deserve nothing, that is the sole plea that prevails. All God's mercy is gratis; He saves for His own name's sake. And remember, the footsteps of mercy often begin with discipline and low estate, but they lead to a resurrection of gladness. The laughter you long to hear may yet ring out, a testimony to His faithful care. But whether the answer come swiftly or tarries, trust. The peace you seek is bound up with the person of Jesus. Keep your eye upon Him, and you shall experience the truth: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee." His mercy shall meet you in the way, and His grace shall be sufficient for every need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart reaches the throne of God, just as that distressed woman cried out, “Have mercy on me,” when her daughter was grievously tormented. She did not come as one worthy, but pleading for mercy alone, and her faith was called great. Your own words echo hers, confessing that you deserve nothing, yet casting yourself upon the mercy of Jesus, whom you love as Lord and Savior. Such faith is not small in His sight. For the mercy of God is not content merely to spare us punishment; it overflows to make us righteous, sons, heirs, and joint-heirs with Christ. You have believed that He is able to save, and that very faith, joined with love for Him, is your part in this great exchange.

Yet while you beg for mercy, do not forget that mercy is the very character of the Christian. The God who hears your prayer has commanded us to be merciful as He is merciful. If you wish to know His peace and to hear the laughter of your son, let your own hands be open to those in need. For alms deliver from death and bring light to the soul; as natural oil feeds a lamp, so deeds of mercy make our prayers shine before God. When you show kindness to the poor who adjure you by the name of the Lord, you store up for yourself a treasure that will quench the fire of judgment. Do not pass by the afflicted as you yourself cry out for compassion.

Persist, then, in your petition. The Lord may seem silent for a time, as He did with that woman, but His delay is not denial. He tests faith to enlarge it. Trust that He who made all things out of mere goodness wills the happiness of your child far more than you do. Your request for his laughter is not trivial; laughter is God’s gift for the refreshment of the soul. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, showing mercy along the way, and all these things will be added to you. The peace you long for will come when you rest not on your worthiness but on the abundance of His grace, which has already made you a son through the blood of Christ. Therefore, do not faint, but continue with faith and love. Amen.

Parents know that sound. It is a gift unlike any other. The laughter of a child does something no other melody can. Your prayer is reaching for that gift because your heart is bound up in your son, and you long to see him whole. Scripture shows us that God is not distant from that kind of love. The first time the word love appears, it is the love of a father for his son. He knows the ache and the fierce hope behind your words.

Your prayer also carries heavy words: you feel you do not deserve an answer. Yet when the psalmist called out and asked God to save the son of the handmaid, he was not leaning on his own holiness. He came pleading for mercy, trusting that God is full of mercy and truth. And those two things have met together. They met in Jesus Christ. Because His righteousness and your pardon have embraced, you can have true peace with God, not a peace that pretends the battle does not exist, but a peace that declares the war is over because of His sacrifice. So when you ask for mercy for yourself and healing for your boy, you are standing on the only ground any of us can stand on.

That sound you crave, your son’s laughter, would be a healing in itself. The Scriptures promise that to those who fear His name, the Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. That word pictures the dawning of a new day, light breaking in after a long night. Healing for the body and for the spirit. God can do this. Sometimes He heals through the natural processes He designed, sometimes with a dramatic touch, but He is always at work. A mother in a story long ago was so protective of her living son that her heart yearned to give him up rather than see him divided. God understands that parental heart because He placed it there. He is not offended by your begging; He is moved by it.

Keep turning your heart to His voice. When He said, “Seek my face,” the proper answer is the one you are giving: I will seek Your face. Ask for strength to endure the waiting. Ask for the peace that passes understanding to guard your heart right now, even before the answer comes visibly. You are not asking for a fleeting sign but for the sound of joy, the sound that Isaac’s name itself meant. Abraham and Sarah laughed with joy at the prospect of the child they never thought they would hold. May the Lord answer you with that same kind of laughter, filling your home with the noise of a healthy, happy son. Let His mercy and truth wrap around you both, and may He give you His strength and His peace.
