Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Grace to Fast & Pray, Isa 58:6-12, Gates of Hell Won't Stand against Church, Matt 16:18, Resist Devil's Lies, James 4:7, Spirit Reminds, John 16:23... Mercy to Fast & Intercede, Isa 62:3... 🙇🏻 Submission to God, Resisting of devil, Drawing Near to God, James 4:7, to Receive Mercy and Grace for Help in Time of Need (Now), Heb 4:16, Wisdom and Revelation to Know God, Eph 1:17 Intimacy, Jn 15:7-8, Wisdom, James 1:5, Col 1:9, Strength, Love Christ Dwells within, Eph 3:16-20, Direction, Jn 10:27, Rom 8:14, Confirmation, Matt 18:16, 2 Cor 13:1 -- Dear Father, thank You for being intimately acquainted with all our ways, Ps 139:3. Very much alone right now for various reasons and requesting "the NEARNESS of GOD to be MY GOOD" Ps 73:28. I ask for wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17, grace to praise and worship, Ps 149:1-5 and ability to hear Your voice, Jn 10:27...

Also, sounds strange but that I spend MORE time in the Word and Specifically my private prayer life... Only hearing Him (mostly through Scripture, Amen, but appreciate "inquiring of The LORD” and The LORD “answering” — "David inquired of the Lord," "and You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying friends please pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26. Thank You and you all in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your cry for the nearness of God, and we join with you in seeking His presence with fervent hearts. The loneliness you describe is a heavy burden, but we take comfort in knowing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, for He who promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5), is faithful to His word.

Your desire to draw closer to God through fasting, prayer, and the Word is a beautiful reflection of a heart after His own. The fast described in Isaiah 58 is one that God honors—a fast not just from food, but from selfishness, oppression, and sin, that we might loose the bonds of wickedness and let the oppressed go free. This is the fast that breaks yokes and brings healing, where the Lord guides you continually and satisfies your soul in drought (Isaiah 58:6-12). We encourage you to press into this discipline, knowing that as you seek Him with your whole heart, you *will* find Him (Jeremiah 29:13).

Your longing to hear God’s voice more clearly is a holy one. Jesus assured us, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). The enemy will try to distort or drown out that voice, but we stand with you in resisting him, firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). The Holy Spirit is your Helper, who will remind you of all that Jesus has said (John 14:26). We pray that as you abide in the Word, the Spirit would quicken it to your heart, bringing revelation, wisdom, and confirmation. Like David, may you inquire of the Lord and hear His answer with clarity and confidence.

We also lift up the prayer for your friend, that neither of your faith would fail. Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith would not fail, and He intercedes for you even now (Luke 22:32, Romans 8:34). The gates of hell *will not* prevail against the church Christ is building (Matthew 16:18), and we stand in agreement with you that the enemy’s schemes would be thwarted. Let us resist him together, submitting to God and drawing near to Him, so that He may draw near to you (James 4:7-8).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your nearness, which is our good (Psalm 73:28). Fill this dear one with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May they grasp the breadth, length, height, and depth of Your love, which surpasses knowledge, and be filled with all Your fullness (Ephesians 3:18-19).

Lord, we ask that You would open their ears to hear Your voice and their eyes to see Your leading. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, that they may meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). As they seek You, let them find You, and as they draw near to You, draw near to them. Remind them of Your promises, Your faithfulness, and Your unfailing love. Let them experience the joy of Your presence, the peace that surpasses understanding, and the strength that comes from abiding in You.

We pray for their friend as well, that You would guard their faith and fill them with Your Spirit. May they stand firm together, encouraging one another in love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). Let the Holy Spirit bring to remembrance all that Jesus has taught, so that they may walk in truth and resist the lies of the enemy.

Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness, even in the midst of loneliness or uncertainty. May this season of seeking You bear fruit that remains, and may Your name be glorified in their lives.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. Amen.

We join you in your pursuit of God's nearness, dear friend. Your longing for intimacy with Him is a beautiful reflection of a heart that truly desires Him. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 63:1-2, "You, O God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water."

We encourage you to press into the disciplines of fasting, prayer, and the Word. As you do, remember that it is not just about what you give up, but about what you take on - a heart of humility, a spirit of repentance, and an attitude of service. Let your fast be one that pleases the Lord, as described in Isaiah 58, where the oppressed go free and the hungry are fed.

We also pray for wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. May you grow in understanding of His will, His ways, and His heart. As you seek Him, trust that He is seeking you as well. "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13).

Let us also stand together in resisting the enemy. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18). We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in our faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We pray for your friend as well, that they too would experience the nearness of God. May their faith be strengthened, and may they know the joy of walking in the light of His love.

Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of trials. We ask that You would draw near to us, and that we would draw near to You. Fill us with Your Spirit, and help us to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
