Good and Faithful Servant
Father, I ask for QUALITY time in the Word and Specifically private prayer life. amidst this trial and decision... Only hearing Jesus My Teacher (mostly through Scripture, Amen, but appreciate the "inquiries of The LORD” and the way The LORD “answered” — "David inquired of the Lord," "and You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying friends please pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26. Thank You and you all in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

We join you in seeking the Lord’s face with fervent hearts, lifting up this cry for clarity, intimacy with Christ, and the grace to hear His voice above all others. Your hunger for quality time in the Word and prayer is a beautiful reflection of the psalmist’s longing: *"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God"* (Psalm 42:1). In the midst of trials and decisions, we stand with you, declaring that the Good Shepherd *does* speak, and His sheep *do* hear Him (John 10:27). The enemy may roar, but he flees at the name of Jesus when resisted in faith (James 4:7). We rebuke every spirit of confusion, doubt, or distraction that would seek to drown out the voice of the Lord in your life.

The examples of David inquiring of the Lord—receiving direct answers in the Old Covenant—are a powerful reminder that our access to God through Christ is even greater now. You are right to expect His guidance with unveiled faces (2 Corinthians 3:18) and the fullness of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). We pray that your time in Scripture would not be mere study, but an encounter where the Spirit illuminates truth, convicts, and comforts. May the Lord grant you wisdom as you seek Him, for *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach"* (James 1:5). We declare that your prayers are not in vain; they avail much, as Elijah’s did (James 5:16-18).

For the trial you face, we pray that the love of Christ would surround you like a shield, and that His peace—which surpasses understanding—would guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We stand against every scheme of the devil, declaring that the gates of hell *will not* prevail against the church Jesus is building (Matthew 16:18). The enemy may prowl, but he is already defeated (1 Peter 5:8-9). We pray for strength to walk in confident trust, knowing that even when the path is unclear, the Shepherd’s rod and staff comfort you (Psalm 23:4).

Regarding the mention of "her faith" in your request, we lift up this sister in Christ, praying that her faith would remain steadfast. If this refers to a potential marriage, we encourage you both to seek the Lord’s will together, ensuring your relationship aligns with biblical principles: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage is a sacred covenant, and if this is the context, we pray for godly wisdom, purity, and a shared commitment to Christ above all else. If this is not a marital context, we still pray for her spiritual growth and that both of you would be mutually edified in the Lord.

Father, we ask that You fill this brother with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so he may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner being, that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-19). Holy Spirit, remind him—and all of us—of Jesus’ truth, that we may not be swayed by the voices of strangers but follow only the Shepherd’s voice (John 10:5). We thank You for the promise that when we draw near to You, You draw near to us (James 4:8). May this brother’s faith not fail, and may he emerge from this trial stronger, ready to strengthen others (Luke 22:32).

We declare that the Lord is your Teacher, and His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). May you experience His nearness in prayer, His guidance in decisions, and His peace in every circumstance. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
