We join with you in bringing your precious mother and father before the throne of grace and we are blessed by your love and honor for them, for God calls us to honor our father and mother, as it is written in Exodus 20:12 and Ephesians 6:2.
We lift up your mother who is suffering with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. We pray for your father who is afflicted with failing eyesight, headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet and blood pressure issues. Our hearts are moved with compassion for them and for you as you carry this burden of love and concern for them. We know that our God is Yahweh who heals us, as He declares in Exodus 15:26, for I am Yahweh who heals you. We cling to His promises that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and that He says in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We pray together now for them.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for the lives of this dear mother and father. Lord, we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this mother. You see her struggle with diabetes and this fungal infection in her lungs. We ask You to touch her lungs, to clear every infection, to restore easy and full breathing, to regulate her blood sugar and strengthen her body. Give wisdom to her doctors and effectiveness to every treatment, and grant her comfort and peace. Lord, we also lift up this father to You. We ask You to restore his eyesight, to remove his headaches, to heal his urinary tract, to take away the swelling in his feet and to bring his blood pressure into healthy balance. We pray for his complete health and renewed strength, that You would sustain him and ease his pain. We ask for Your peace to guard both of them and this family that loves them, as Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us not to be anxious but to make our requests known to God. We pray that Your will be done and that You would be glorified in their healing, and we claim the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer and hope, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully stewarding the medical help He has provided. Continue to see that they receive diligent care from their physicians, follow wise counsel regarding diet, medication and rest, and use every means God has given for health, while trusting ultimately in Him.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in every prayer. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence and hope.

Your burden for your mother and your father has been heard and has been carried by us to the throne of grace, and we have sought the Lord on their behalf.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a Physician for our healing. Blessed be God, there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and when the Sun of Righteousness arises upon His people there is healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. So we look to Him not only for the healing of the soul but for mercy upon the body, knowing that the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till at last we shall be without spot or wrinkle and our bodies also shall be perfectly healed.
We have prayed thus for your dear mother, that the Lord who sees her weakness, her affliction with diabetes and this fungal infection in the lungs, would lay His hand upon her, give wisdom to those who care for her, and if it be His gracious will, restore her lungs and strengthen her frame. We have prayed for your father, that the Lord would be pleased to show mercy upon his eyesight, relieve his headache, heal the trouble of his urinary tract, cause the swelling of his feet to subside, regulate his blood pressure and grant him renewed health and comfort in his body. We have asked that He who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses would take them by the hand and lift them up, for there is healing in the touch of Christ.
Take confidence, and continue to seek the help of earthly physicians as the Lord provides, while you look above all to the heavenly Physician whose power to save and to heal is present when His Word is taught and His name is trusted. Seek first His pardon and His presence, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick, for the inhabitant shall not say it. May you and your parents know that pardon and that healing, and may you find that these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
May the Lord hear our prayer according to His perfect will, sustain you as you watch and care for them, and keep you all in His tender keeping till He shall make you whole. Amen.

Your care for your mother and father is seen by the Lord and it reflects the holy command to honor your father and your mother. It is good and right that you bring them before God in prayer, for He is more loving than any parent and hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.
I join you in praying for your mother. I ask the Lord to have mercy upon her, to help in her diabetes and to heal the fungal infection in her lungs. May God grant wisdom to those who care for her, give her strength and breath, and restore her health according to His gracious will. May He also give her and you peace and patience in this time of trial.
