We have heard your heart and we are standing with you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. We understand how discouraging it is to lack energy and motivation day after day, to carry lingering pain in your lower back, and to feel as though God is distant or silent. Please know you are not alone in this struggle and God has not left you even when His presence feels far away.

The Scriptures remind us that our feelings do not determine God's nearness. He has promised, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Hebrews 13:5. And, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. Even when we cannot feel Him, He is still holding us. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. That dry season does not mean He has abandoned you, it is often in that quiet that He is teaching us to trust His Word more than our emotions.

We also lift up your body before the Lord, for He cares about your physical suffering. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29. And we are reminded, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. We pray for the Lord's healing touch on your lower back and for renewed strength and motivation. We also encourage you to continue to be a good steward of the body God has given you, to seek wise medical counsel if needed, to rest, to nourish your body, and to bring every care to Him, for He invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.

We notice you spoke of God but did not mention Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and assurance of His presence. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name, for then you can know His presence remains with you always.

So we pray together for you now.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up our dear one who is weary and in pain. Lord, You see the lack of energy and motivation, You see the pain that lingers in the lower back, and You know the ache of not feeling Your presence. We ask in Jesus' name that You would bring healing according to Your will, that You would restore strength and renew the mind. Help our friend to wait upon You and to find new strength, to mount up with wings like eagles, to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Reveal Yourself in a fresh way, not only through feelings but through Your Word and Your faithful love that never leaves. Teach us to trust Your promises more than our perceptions. We ask this all in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, even when it feels dry, to pray honestly as the psalmists did, and to thank God for His nearness by faith. Keep bringing your needs to Him, for He hears you. Be strengthened and take courage. Isaiah 41:10 says, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We are continuing to pray for your healing, your energy, and that you will know again the joy of His presence.

We hear how heavy this stretch has felt for you, the low energy and lack of motivation, that lingering pain in your lower back, and the quietness where you long to sense God's presence. When our bodies hurt for a while it can drain so much more than just strength, and it makes sense you would feel weary and a bit distant.

We are praying for you and we also want to encourage you to keep tending to your health. Since the back pain has lingered and your energy is still low, please consider seeing your doctor to have it checked if you haven't already. We will be praying right alongside any care you receive.

There are seasons when God can feel far even though He has not moved. Ongoing discomfort and exhaustion can make everything feel muted, including our spiritual life. We have found it helps to think of staying close to Him more like steady training over time than trying hard in a moment to make a feeling come. Small, regular turns toward Him matter even when they feel small.

If you are able, staying gently connected can help, a brief honest prayer when you can, a little time in Scripture without pressure to do a lot, and letting a trusted pastor or friend know how you are doing so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the pain in their back, the tiredness, and the longing to feel You near. Bring wisdom for next steps with their health, renew strength day by day, and give quiet assurance of Your nearness and care. Amen.

I felt this way at some point. It was a bad season of testing (not bad bad but bro it was not looking good)

I pray that you gain energy from the Lord and that you gain motivation! I pray that the pain is healed all over, amen!
Maybe you could try listening to your favorite genre of song as a christian song. I like rap and rock so I listen to Zauntee, but there are other genres of christian songs and they give crazy motivation, but most importantly pray for it. For, we shall not rely on other things but Jesus alone.

Your honest words about weariness of body and heaviness of soul are heard, and we bring them before the Lord with you. To lack energy and motivation, to carry lingering pain in the back day after day, and at the same time to feel as though the presence of God is distant, is a sore trial, for grief of mind is harder to bear than pain of body.

Be assured of this, the Lord has not left you, though for a season you may feel that you have drifted far from Him. It cannot be that God has left the world, it must be that the world has left God, and He has not ceased to speak to the soul. We have not been without messages from God, for this Bible in our hands is His sure message to us. When feeling fails, His Word remains, and it is a message from God to you in your present case. He is not only the God of the hills when the spirit is strong and joyful, but He is also the God of the valleys when the soul is low and the body is weak and prayer itself feels faint. He is the God of the valley of pain and languor as truly as He is the God of the mountaintop.

Even our blessed Lord cried, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, and He knows what it is to feel forsaken while yet being upheld by the Father. Your feeling of absence does not measure His presence. Like the Psalmist you may still come alone with God and say, I have declared my ways and you heard me, teach me your statutes. Tell Him all, keep nothing back, make Him your confidant in this pain, this weariness, this numbness of heart. He hears the declaring of your ways, and He will teach and sustain you.

We pray for you now, that the Lord in His mercy would ease the pain in your lower back, restore strength to your frame, and lift the cloud from your spirit. May He revive you in the valley, give you daily grace for each duty, and grant you again with ineffable joy to know His nearness, not by fleeting feeling alone but by faith in His unfailing promise that He will never leave nor forsake His own. May the Holy Ghost enable you to look to Christ who bore all that you deserve, and to rest in the love that fills the cup where once wrath was, and to find quiet hope as you wait upon Him day by day.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Please pray for us. We have so much going on as a family. We're looking for a new house and have found one, but my husband is unsure. He spoke to my mortgage adviser, and she thinks we should make an offer. So we made an offer, but my husband is still unsure. We've put the car in for repairs...
