Your care for your mother and father is beautiful and pleases God, for the Lord commanded us to honor our father and mother, and your prayer shows that honor in action.
I have brought your requests before the Lord and I join you in praying for them.
We pray for your mother, that God in His mercy would touch her body, help the doctors as they treat the fungal infection in her lungs, and give wisdom for managing her diabetes. We ask the Lord, who is the great healer, to grant her strength, breath, and restoration, and to give her peace and comfort in this affliction.
We pray also for your father, for his eyesight to be restored, for relief from headaches, for healing of the urinary tract problems and the swelling in his feet, and for his blood pressure to be steadied. We ask God to grant him good health and renewed strength, and to guard him with His grace each day.
Continue to honor them by caring for them, seeking good medical help, and bringing their needs daily before God in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. God hears the prayers of His children, and He is near to those who call upon Him with faith.
May the Lord grant you confidence and consolation as you wait on Him, and may He comfort your parents and uphold you all by His loving hand.

Thank you for sharing the burden you carry for your parents. I have lifted both of them before the Lord and I continue to pray for them and for you as you care for them.
Scripture shows us that there is healing power in the name of Jesus. When Peter was questioned about the lame man who had been made well, he declared that it was through the name of Jesus that the man stood whole before them. That same power is still present today, and we can come with confidence to Jesus, asking for His mercy and His healing touch.
I have prayed specifically for your mother, that the Lord would touch her lungs and clear the fungal infection, and that He would give wisdom to those caring for her as they manage her diabetes. I have prayed for your father, that God would help his eyesight and relieve his headaches, heal the problems with his urinary tract, reduce the swelling in his feet, bring his blood pressure into a healthy range, and restore him to good health overall. We ask God not only for relief of symptoms but for true restoration according to His will.
Your love and concern for your parents reflects the protective love God intends for the family, where those within it are surrounded and upheld by care for one another. At the same time Scripture reminds us that each person must have his or her own faith in Jesus. No one can be saved by a parent's faith or a family's faith. Each of us must personally trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. There is no other remedy for our deepest need, which is forgiveness and new life, and there is no other name by which we are saved and made whole. Just as a nation that turned from God could only be healed by returning to His cure, so each heart needs His cure found only in Jesus.
My prayer for you and for your household is that the Holy Spirit will fill your hearts with a clear knowledge of God's love and His ways, and that your home will be a place where commitment to Jesus Christ and the joy of following Him is lived and passed on. May the Lord draw each of you closer to Himself through this trial, and may you know His peace and presence day by day.
