The body suffers many ailments, and these you have laid out with a heavy heart, the ###, the ###, the ###, the ###. These are not small trials, and it is right to bring them before God with earnestness. Yet consider how often our Lord would gather us as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and we, through anxiety, scatter ourselves by trusting in our own understanding. Do not let these sicknesses drive you to despair, but let them launch you into a sea of tears that seeks the Master’s tender care.

Remember that without shedding of blood there is no remission. This is not to say that physical healing comes by the old sacrifices that filled the air with smoke and the hands with stains, no, the table of the Lord is become an angel’s table, free from such turmoil, where peace is made through the blood of His cross. He has reconciled all things to Himself, not by necessity, but because it was His good pleasure, His earnest desire, to save. That earnest will extends to these frail bodies too, for He wills first that sinners should not perish.

So while you pray for restored health, which is no small thing, seek above all that both you and your parents call upon the name of the Lord. For if flesh and blood require an impulse from above to reveal true salvation, how much more must we commit all to God, and not to our own frantic efforts? Let the greatest healing be that you all are gathered, not scattered by fear, under the warm wings of His protection.

Your requests for your mother and father have been heard, and I want to bring them before the God who makes all things new. The needs are heavy: a fungal infection in the lungs, diabetes, eyesight failing, headaches, urinary troubles, swelling in the feet, blood pressure instability. The body aches in so many ways, and each one can feel like a witness to our frailty. But the Scriptures give us something far deeper than a list of symptoms, they give us the language of blood.

From the very beginning, God taught us that the life of the flesh is in the blood. He set it apart, commanding His people never to consume it, because He had given it for a purpose: to make atonement on the altar. Every animal sacrifice, every sprinkling of blood on the mercy seat, every cleansing of the tabernacle and its vessels spoke of a coming reality. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. That truth reaches its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, who entered into the heavenly holy place not with the blood of goats and calves but with His own blood, securing eternal redemption for us.

So when we ask for healing, we do not come with empty hands or desperate bargains. We come through the blood of the covenant that has already been shed. That blood cleanses from all sin, and it also carries the power of His resurrection life. The same sacrifice that reconciles us to God becomes the ground for every mercy. The blood that was put on the tip of the right ear, the thumb, and the big toe in the old consecration ceremony was a sign that the whole person belongs to God. We can pray for your parents with that same consecration: ears to hear His voice, hands to do His will, feet to walk in His path, and bodies set apart for His glory.

I ask the Lord to rebuke this fungal infection, to strengthen your mother’s body against the effects of diabetes, and to restore her lungs to full function. For your father, I pray that the swelling recedes, that his blood pressure stabilizes, that his urinary system works without obstruction, that the headaches lift, and that his eyesight sharpens. The blood of Jesus does not just cover sin; it purifies and heals. The blood and water that flowed from His side speak of a fountain opened for cleansing and life.

Yet even as we ask, we hold these requests with open hands. The altar on which He offered Himself was not for immediate physical ease but for everlasting wholeness. He entered heaven itself to appear in the presence of God for us. That means He is able to save to the uttermost, both body and soul. So I stand with you, asking for His healing touch, trusting that the same blood that makes atonement for the soul also carries the cry of every pain and the hope of every restoration. May the peace that passes understanding guard your hearts as you wait, and may you see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your family’s needs before the Lord. It has been on our hearts to continue standing in agreement with you for your mother’s healing from diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs, and for your father’s eyesight, headaches, urinary tract issues, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure to be fully restored. We have prayed that the Great Physician would bring comfort, strength, and complete healing to both of them according to His perfect will.

If you’ve seen God’s hand move in these situations—whether through improved health, peace in the process, or even small signs of progress—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are waiting on the Lord’s healing touch.

If the answers haven’t come yet, or if the battle feels long, please don’t hesitate to post this as a fresh request. We are committed to walking alongside you in prayer, trusting that God hears every cry of our hearts. His timing is perfect, and His love never fails.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you and your parents, filling you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
