Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my ### as he is admitted in ### and his condition is very critical even yesterday I posted the prayer request and once again I request u to pray for his full recovery.

We lift up in earnest prayer before the throne of grace, asking for His mercy and healing to surround this precious life. The Word of God assures us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15 WEB). We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our cries and is able to restore health and strength.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention for . You are the Great Physician, the One who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You alone hold the power over life and death. We ask that You would touch him with Your healing hand, bringing restoration to every part of his body that is weak or afflicted. Lord, we know that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and we trust in Your perfect will, whether that be healing in this life or the ultimate healing of eternity with You. Yet we boldly ask for a miracle, for You are a God who delights in showing mercy (Micah 7:18).

We also pray for peace and strength for ’s family during this difficult time. May they feel Your presence surrounding them, comforting them with the hope that comes from knowing You are in control. "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remind them that even in the valley of the shadow of death, You are with them (Psalm 23:4).

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in the lives of those connected to this situation, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or doubt that may be trying to take hold, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand in faith, believing that Your healing power is at work even now. Strengthen the medical team attending to him, Lord, and guide their hands and decisions with Your wisdom. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). Amen.

We are praying with you right now for your loved one, and we are not letting go of this request. It is exhausting and frightening to watch someone you care about fight a critical illness, especially when you have been crying out for help. We are grateful you reached out again, please do not feel you are being a burden. You are not alone in this.

Many of us have sat in that hospital waiting room or stood by a bedside feeling helpless, and we know that sometimes the greatest comfort is simply knowing that others are standing with you in prayer. The work of interceding for someone in crisis is not a small thing; it is a way we carry one another’s burdens. At this moment, as you wait, hold on to the truth that the Lord is not distant from that hospital room. He is present, and He sees every detail. Your loved one’s life is known to Him.

While you wait for news, let us encourage you to do two things. First, let a trusted few from your church or a family member support you practically, maybe someone can sit with you, bring a meal, or simply be present. You do not have to shoulder this weight by yourself. Second, keep speaking words of hope and love over your loved one when you can. Even in the quiet moments, your presence is a gift.

We pray now in Jesus’ name: Lord, You are the giver of life, and we lift up this beloved person in critical condition. Strengthen their body, give wisdom to every doctor and nurse, and bring a full recovery according to Your will. Hold this family close, calm their anxious hearts, and let them sense Your nearness in the stillness of this room. We ask for mercy, for healing, and for peace. Amen.

How often we are driven to the throne of grace by the sharp spur of a loved one's suffering, and how blessed it is that we may come again and again, even as you have done, with the same burden upon our heart. The Lord does not grow weary of our importunity; rather, He welcomes the persistent faith that will not let Him go except He bless. I perceive the distress in your words, and I join my prayers with yours that the Great Physician would stretch out His hand and grant a full recovery to him who lies so low.

Yet let us not limit the healing power of our Lord Jesus to the body alone. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ carries virtue to cure the whole man. While we plead for the restoration of physical strength, we must also look to Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up every spiritual wound. Remember how our Lord, when He healed the palsied man, first spoke the word of pardon: "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee." There is a clearest link between forgiveness and healing; and often the sickness that brings a soul to the Saviour's feet proves to be the greatest mercy of all. Whether this dear one has long known the Lord or is now brought to consider his ways, let us pray that this affliction may be the occasion for a deeper work of grace, that Jesus may come and dwell with him, so that the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings.

Do not imagine that the worst of the case bars the door of hope. In Christ's hospital there never was a patient turned out as incurable. He is able to save to the uttermost, and His healing ointments are not exhausted. As you watch by that bedside, whisper the promises of God into the ear of the one who lies so weak, and trust that even now the healing virtue which flows from Calvary can make the fever flee and the strength return. The Lord, who took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up, can touch your beloved and restore him to health and to greater usefulness. Only cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.

I will earnestly entreat the Lord for his full recovery, but I will also ask that whether life or death be the present portion, the Lord will be glorified and the soul be made perfectly whole in Jesus. O, for that blessed moment when they who inhabit Heaven shall need no healing leaf because they are without spot or wrinkle! Until then, let us cling to the cross, where pardon and healing flow together from the wounded side of our Redeemer. God bless you and sustain you in this trial.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The critical state of one so close to your heart is a heavy blow, and you bear it with the anguish of a soul that knows all earthly help is frail. Fear is natural in such a storm; yet let that very fear drive you, not to despair, but to firm adoration of the Lord who holds every breath in His hand. Did not the women at the tomb tremble with fear and great joy when Christ met them? He drew near and cast out their terror, saying, “Be not afraid,” and sent them to carry good news. So now, in your trembling, draw near to Him through prayer, and hear His voice bidding you trust.

You have asked once, and now you ask again, and some might grow weary or think it vain. But I tell you, it is not in vain. Consider the tree that is struck ten times and stands, then falls at a single blow: it was not the final stroke alone that felled it, but all the strokes before. Persistent prayer works in like manner; though you see no change now, every earnest cry before God softens the hardness of the trial and prepares the way for deliverance. Do not let your hearing become dull or your heart cold from the pain. Afflictions can cause a sluggishness of soul, yet it is precisely now that you must stir up your zeal and refuse to give way to sloth.

God knows the secrets of every heart. As the angel of old perceived the unspoken suspicions of Joseph and brought him peace, so the Lord understands the unspoken groaning of your spirit for the sick one. He sees the love, the fear, the hope all mingled together. Bring these openly before Him, and do not think that your repeated request offends Him. On the contrary, it is the mark of a soul that refuses to let go of the hem of His garment.

But while you pray for the body, do not neglect the soul, yours and his. In such trials we are often blinded by what we think we need, like a film gathering over the eye of faith. Let this urgent need become a medicine to clear your sight. Seek the fullness of God, that you may be filled with every virtue and with a right knowledge of His will. For the truest healing flows from a heart reconciled to its Maker.

Continue therefore to entreat the Great Physician and to gather with the faithful in prayer. Even if you depart from the gathering feeling no immediate comfort, yet some profit will lodge in your soul, like the fragrance clinging to one who passes through a perfumer’s shop. And if you groan before Him, confessing, “I hear and yet my faith is weak,” that very groan shall not go unanswered; it is a step toward the doing.

Be not afraid, these words are for you. Place your loved one entirely in the hands that were pierced for our salvation. We join with you, asking boldly for a full recovery, yet bowing to His perfect wisdom. He who stilled the storm can restore health in an instant; and if He delays, it is only to work a deeper work. Stand fast, then, in hope and holy fear, and do not cease your supplications.
