The fungal infection in your mother’s lungs is serious business. I’ve seen how certain infections, once they take hold, can ravage the body. They demand extraordinary care, barriers, precautions, constant vigilance, because what seeps out can spread and destroy. So we do not take this lightly. But we also do not put our trust in gowns and masks alone. We bring this before the One who knit our lungs together and who commands even the most stubborn disease to wither. We are asking Him to clear that infection completely, to restore her breath, and to stabilize her blood sugar so her body can fight.

And your father, headaches, eyesight dimming, the urinary tract trouble, swelling in his feet, the pressure running high. That list weighs heavy on a son or daughter. I think how the Apostle Paul once carried a bodily affliction that likely made his appearance hard to bear and threatened his sight. Yet he knew the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings and the fierce loyalty of those who would have given their own eyes for him. Your father’s condition does not make him a burden. It draws out a love that mirrors Christ’s own. We are praying for his eyes to see clearly again, for the headaches to lift, for the infections to clear and the swelling to go down, for his blood pressure to find a steady, healthy rhythm. We are asking for his whole frame to be preserved strong and useful, like Moses on the mountain, whose eyes did not grow dim and whose vigor did not fade.

Bring these needs to Jesus, who touched lepers and made the unclean clean. We stand with you, asking for His healing power over every named trouble, and for the peace that outlasts every symptom.

We want to thank you for the privilege of lifting your family before the Lord in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to stand in agreement with you for your mother’s healing from diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs, and for your father’s eyesight, headaches, urinary tract issues, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure concerns. We have prayed earnestly for the Lord’s touch of restoration and wholeness over both of them.
