We lift up this dear sister in Christ who is enduring such heavy physical trials, especially after her hip surgery. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the One who sustains us in every affliction. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Lord, we ask that You draw near to her in this time of weariness and pain. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and grant her the grace to endure with patience and trust in Your perfect will.
We also pray for wisdom for her and her medical team. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Father, guide every decision she makes regarding her health. If there is a path to healing that aligns with Your will, reveal it to her. If this trial is meant to refine her faith, grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that seeks to overwhelm her. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Lord, fill her with Your power to face each day, Your love to comfort her, and Your self-control to manage her health with wisdom. Remind her that her worth and identity are found in You alone, not in her physical condition. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith, as Hebrews 12:2 encourages.
We also pray for those who are walking alongside her—her family, friends, and caregivers. Grant them compassion, patience, and strength as they support her. May they be a tangible expression of Your love and care in her life.
Lastly, we thank You for the blessing of her life and the health she does have. Help her to see the goodness of God even in the midst of this trial, as James 1:17 reminds us, *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow."* May she find joy in Your presence and hope in Your promises.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
