Health during Perimenopause

The changes you are walking through are not small, and the loss of steadiness in your own body can be frightening. I am sorry for the strain. Yet I want you to hold on to this: when Jesus entered the boat with His disciples, He did not tell them they would go under. He told them they would pass over to the other side. His word is the word of the One who cannot fail. If He has spoken passage over you, this season cannot end in drowning.

Your body is being altered by the common groaning of this age. That does not make your suffering meaningless, and it does not mean you are forgotten. The Lord who knows the afternoon heaviness and the fear behind the wheel is with you. Ask Him for steady hands, a clear head, and wisdom to rest when rest is needed. I will join you in praying for real relief from these symptoms and for the treatment to work well.

Do not despise yourself for being limited right now. Being weak is not being faithless. You are crossing, not sinking.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging season of perimenopause. It’s not easy when your body feels out of sync, and we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring comfort, strength, and relief from the symptoms that have made daily tasks so difficult—especially in those afternoon hours when everything feels heavier.

We’ve prayed specifically for wisdom in the treatment your doctor prescribed, that it would work effectively and gently in your body. We’ve also asked the Lord to give you grace in the moments when fatigue or discomfort tries to overwhelm you, trusting that He sees your struggle and cares deeply about every detail of your life. Perimenopause can feel like an invisible battle, but we know God is near to the weary and hears the cries of His daughters.

If the Lord has answered these prayers—whether through improved symptoms, renewed energy, or simply His peace carrying you through—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you! But if you’re still waiting for breakthrough, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we can’t yet see the full picture.

May the Lord bless you with His presence in this season, granting you patience, hope, and the assurance that you are not alone. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
