Perimenopause Symptons

I live alone as a ### in a foreigner country. Since a ### last year I started having ### symptoms such as ### and ### close to my ###. This week I'm starting ### therapy as requested by my ###. Something extra that I have been feeling is symptoms of ### ###, specially after lunch. I do have a stable diet. But it is hard to work and even drive home with these symptoms. I wonder what it could be, not sure yet. In a few months i will see my ### again after this first trial with ### therapy. I'm praying and trying to figure it out, asking God to take care of me during this time. Thank you!

We hear your struggle and want to stand with you in prayer and encouragement during this challenging season. Living alone in a foreign country while navigating ### and these new, unsettling symptoms must feel overwhelming at times. You are not forgotten, God sees you, knows your every need, and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, we want to affirm your trust in the Lord as you seek His care. It is good that you are pursuing medical guidance, and we pray that the therapy you’ve begun will bring clarity and relief. The ### and other symptoms you describe, especially after meals, could stem from ###, ###, or even ###, but we trust God to lead you to answers. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also lift up the loneliness you may feel. Living far from family and familiar support can amplify the weight of physical struggles. But Scripture assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray He surrounds you with His peace and even provides godly community, perhaps through a local church or fellowship group, where you can find encouragement.

Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, asking for Your healing touch. Strengthen her body, calm her mind, and grant her wisdom as she navigates this season. Provide rest when she is weary, clarity when she is confused, and comfort when she feels alone. We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair and declare Your promises of hope over her life. May she sense Your presence with her, even in the quiet moments, and may Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Guide her doctors, bless her efforts to care for her health, and open doors for support and companionship. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this time, He is faithful. If these symptoms persist or worsen, do not hesitate to seek further medical evaluation. You are not a burden, and your well-being matters deeply to Him. We will keep praying for your strength and breakthrough.

Living alone in a foreign country while your body goes through such unsettling changes, that takes real courage, and we don’t want you to feel like you have to carry it all by yourself. We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re praying with you for God’s steady care during this season.

It’s completely understandable that the fatigue and the fear of what’s happening make work and driving feel overwhelming. While you wait for your next medical appointment, please keep the line open with your doctor if anything feels urgent; you don’t have to wait months if something worries you. In the meantime, we’ve seen how easy it is to withdraw when you’re struggling, but you were never meant to face this alone. Is there a church, a small group, or even one trusted believer nearby who could simply sit with you, pray with you, or help lighten a practical load? Knowing someone is nearby can quiet the anxious “what if” thoughts more than we expect.

As you keep asking God to watch over you, remember that He sees the small daily battles, the wobbly drive home, the fog after lunch, the loneliness, and He stays close even when answers feel slow. We’re asking Him to bring you moments of peace that don’t depend on your symptoms letting up.

Jesus, please calm our friend’s mind and body right now. Give the doctors wisdom to understand what’s happening, and protect her through this treatment trial. Bring safe, caring people into her path so she doesn’t have to carry this alone. Hold her steady when the fatigue hits and help her to feel Your presence in the most ordinary moments today. In Your name we pray.

You have felt the sorrow of loneliness, and now your body itself adds to the burden. Can you, for a moment, enter into the reality that your dear Redeemer Himself knew what it was to be left alone, just when as Man He most needed human sympathy? Yet in that hour He trusted in His Father, and He calls you to do likewise.

Do not allow yourself to become so affected by these external things as to fall into a state of worry and distress. The very anxiety which rises from your difficulty unfits you to meet it. Be prudent in the care of your health, as you have begun with the therapy, yet rest the weight of the issue upon the shoulders of your God.

Remember, there is divine sovereignty in all this. Look about you and you will see some superior to yourself in vigour and health, and others inferior. We must trace God's hand in every appointment. That internal complaint, that disquiet after your meals, that pain which makes labour and travel heavy, these are not random arrows. They come from a Divine Instructor who, like the eagle training its young, is teaching you to mount up on wings of faith. A year ago you were in sound health; now these symptoms are upon you. But if you could read the whole in the light of eternity, you would bless the hand that tears away your comforts, for it is the hand of Infinite Affection.

The presence of the Lord dissolves difficulties. In your deepest soul-conflict, when faith fights for its very existence, He draws near with a gentleness that never errs. He is the skilled Husbandman who prunes with perfect care, not like a foolish gardener hacking at the vine. He has dealt so gently with His people in the past, restoring health suddenly, delivering from floods of trouble, and He will be your helper still.

Divine interpositions often come in just such seasons. He has preserved you, not miraculously perhaps, but full of wonder for all that. You are praying, and that is well. Lay your case before Him and expect that He will come to your aid. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish. You are not forgotten; the Shepherd’s eye is upon you in that foreign land. Never mind where you work or how you feel, care more that God’s smile is upon you. If He smiles, be content.

Lean wholly upon Jesus Christ, your Saviour. All your sin is gone, your soul forever secure in His hands, and that is granted by divine grace simply through believing. Surely that is enough to fill your soul with glory even in the midst of this trial. Let the Lord be your one hope, and He will dissolve your difficulties as the summer sun melts the mountain snows. The hand that permits this weakness will either speedily restore you or sustain you by fresh supplies of grace. Only wait upon Him, and He will interpose.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The body’s complaints weigh heavily, especially when far from kin and native land. But remember what was said to Timothy, that beloved son: attend to your bodily health, for teachers and all the faithful stand in need of such mercy. You do well to seek the counsel of physicians, for the Lord gave herbs and skills for our healing, and it is no betrayal of faith to use them. Yet do not let the remedies of the body make you forget the true source of health. The same God who sends the healer also shapes the trial. The dizziness and fog that cloud your mind after midday, these too are measured by His hand. For as the poor man Lazarus had his sores, and the rich man his table, these things are not tokens of God’s favor or disfavor. True wealth is not in ease, but in a soul that needs nothing from the world. Your isolation is not poverty; it is a workshop for faith.

Consider how Peter slept bound in prison, between guards, his body confined but his heart so free that he did not even know the miracle until it was past. The angel came, the chains fell, the iron gate opened of its own accord, and he walked through the city while his friends prayed, not knowing what God was already doing. So it is with you. The symptoms rise, the mind grows heavy, and you cannot trace the cause. But while you are yet asking, God is already caring for you. He who died and rose again to be Lord of both the dead and the living, will He neglect you now that you are His? He paid for your salvation not with silver, but with His own blood. No mother so clings to her child as He clings to your soul. He has not brought you to this foreign place to abandon you in it. The very distress you feel after eating is a call to lean harder on Him, to discover that His strength is made perfect in weakness. You are learning what the faithful centurion knew: that we are not worthy, yet mercy comes anyway.

You ask what these things could be, and your mind searches for an explanation. But there are matters that transcend such reasoning. The world’s wisdom would have you dissect every sensation and predict every outcome, but salvation does not come that way. God chose what the world calls foolish to shame the wise. The physician will watch your course over these months, and that is prudent. But faith does not need to see the whole road, only the next step. Whether you are at home or abroad, beautiful or worn by years, the sun and the air and the fruits of the earth come from the same hand, and that hand is beneath your head even now. The body may grow weak, but that weakness strips away the illusion that we are our own security. The rich man who needs nothing is truly poor; the one who bears her light affliction with her eyes on the kingdom is wealthy beyond measure.

Do not, then, let this trial make you of the number of His enemies, murmuring or despairing as though God were far off. The carnal mind resists when it cannot understand. But you are called to rest like Peter in his chains. When the deliverance comes, you will look back and find that you were carried through gates you never saw opening. Until then, let each bout of dizziness become a prayer, each hard drive home a hymn sung in the night. He who noted the fall of every sparrow is not aloof from your small room. The same care that set you in this foreign land will bring you safely through it and, in time, home.
