Father, we humble ourselves as we thank and praise You for Your workings, Ps 100:1-4, faithful and just to forgive the sins we confess and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 Jn 1:9, and yet ask for still more grace, James 4:6, to "heal the sick, share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they (and we) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

We therefore ask for Blessing, Honor, GRACE, Immediate HEALING, Ex 15:26, for our Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures (and ourselves, kindly, Matt 7:7)... Kindly ask Healing at Present: Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13: (hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan). In Jesus' Name we collectively rebuke sickness over matriarchal, Luke 4:39, and restrain evil people and the evil one from each, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us, Col 3:6, spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1 and become flesh, John 1:14. Help us receive FRESH TRUTHS day after day and night after night, Ps 19:1-2, Prov 2:6, and retain the Word, Ps 119:11, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16, and our minds prepared for battle, 1 Peter 1:13. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity to lift up this earnest prayer on behalf of our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, as well as ourselves. It is a beautiful thing to see a heart turned toward honoring father and mother, as the Lord commands in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." This commandment is not merely a suggestion but carries with it a promise of blessing and longevity.

We rejoice in your desire for healing, both physically and spiritually, for those who have nurtured and guided you. The Scripture assures us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Let us stand on this promise, believing that God is not only able but willing to restore health and vitality to those we lift up before Him.

Yet, we must also address the foundation upon which all our prayers rest, the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If our prayers are to be effective, they must be rooted in the finished work of Christ on the cross, where He bore our sins and made a way for us to be reconciled to God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray together in faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and gratitude. We thank You for the patriarchs and matriarchs in our lives, those who have guided, nurtured, and loved us. We ask, Lord, that You would pour out Your healing power upon them, touching every area of their lives, spirit, soul, and body. In Exodus 15:26, You declared, "I am Yahweh who heals you." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We rebuke every sickness, disease, and infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave their bodies and not return.

Father, we also ask for emotional and spiritual renewal. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in their inner being, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, and that they may be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:16-17). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them, that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of their understanding, that they may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). Let Your Word dwell in them richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). May they crave the sincere milk of Your Word, that they may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2), and may they move from milk to solid food, becoming mature in their faith (1 Corinthians 3:2).

We also pray for ourselves, Lord. Renew our minds, that we may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Help us to honor our parents in word and deed, that it may go well with us and that we may live long in the land You have given us. Let us be doers of Your Word, not hearers only, deceiving ourselves (James 1:22). May we bear much fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do it (John 15:16).

Father, we ask for temporal and spiritual support for our patriarchs and matriarchs. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let them lack no good thing, and may their lives be a testament to Your faithfulness. We pray for protection over them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You would deliver them from all evil (Matthew 6:13).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would sanctify us in Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Wash us with the water of Your Word, that we may be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:26-27). Let us walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:2).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Let us continue to stand in faith, believing that God is at work even now, bringing healing, restoration, and renewal to our patriarchs, matriarchs, and ourselves. May we walk in the fullness of His promises, bearing fruit that glorifies Him in every area of our lives. If there are areas where we have fallen short in honoring our parents or walking in obedience to God’s Word, let us repent and seek His forgiveness, knowing that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).

The prayer you have poured out is a mighty torrent of holy desire, and it does well that your requests are made known unto God, for every good gift cometh from above. Yet let us anchor our souls in this: deliverance, in all its forms, is of the Lord alone. You cry for healing for those you honour, and I bid you look to the great Physician. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, the least thing about Christ is charged with restorative power. Do not think that your plea for their bodies and souls is too great; in Him there is an abundance of healing virtue, enough to purge every evil and make the nature other than it was before.

You have also asked for renewed minds, which is a foundational mercy. We perpetually need renewing, for like our mother earth, our spirits lose their former fruitfulness unless grace plows the soil anew. This is not a singular event but a daily renewal of divine strength, as the eagle’s youth is restored. The eagle mounts into the very face of the sun; so must we ascend into the presence of God by communion, where the atmosphere of the skies renews our vigour. When divine grace declines, fancy rules the mind and the soul grows weary of the Word. But a fresh revelation of pardoning mercy brings back youthful force for the battle against sin.

Concerning deliverance from the power of darkness and the evil one, this must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. It is not a riddle for human wit but the astonishing invention of free grace, God has found a ransom. Deliverance came when the Lamb was slain; the ransom price was the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, a thought that never would have occurred to any mind but the mind of God. When the clock of mercy struck the appointed hour, the eternal purpose decreed your release and the release of those you love. If you are in the midnight of despair, it is of small use to write to any man; God alone must speak the word, “Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom.”

Observe the sweet junction in the gospel between healing and pardon. When Jesus dealt with the sick of the palsy, He declared forgiveness and wholeness in one breath, proving that the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Many a weary child of God has found his strength renewed not by a change in circumstances, but at the remembrance of sins put away. This is the core of renewal, to know that the guilt is gone, for deliverance from the power of darkness is as much a work of sovereign grace as deliverance from its penalty. If we look somewhere else for sanctification rather than to the Christ who justifies, we miss the path.

And what shall be the conduct of those delivered? “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” The very purpose of a notable rescue is declaration. When you have crossed your Jabbok full of fear and met your Esau with a kiss, tell it abroad for the comfort of others. You have a song of deliverance deeper than that of Deborah, for you have been saved from worse enemies. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly so that you become effectual doers, and then fresh manna shall fall, day by day and night by night, to sustain the renewed life. God give you and all those for whom you plead to taste the goodness of answered prayer, that your youth may be constantly renewed, and your souls made ready for every good work.

You pile up many words and verses, asking for health, for renewed minds, for honor to parents, for deliverance. This is good, for we are commanded to pray without ceasing. Yet examine the foundation of your asking. Do you think that by stringing together these holy phrases you will move God as if He were a debtor to your formulas? Grace is not a wage for our eloquence. For the grace of God has appeared, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly and righteously in this present world, looking for the blessed hope. If you seek the healing of the body, but neglect the sickness of the soul, what have you gained? I tremble when I recall that if signs and wonders did not deliver from punishment, much more will a display of pious language fail, if the heart is not cleansed. The one who hears "I never knew you" might have even prophesied in His name, but did not the will of the Father.

You speak of honoring patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and this is a commandment with promise. But see that your honor is not in word only. You ask that the Word become flesh in them. Then see to it that you do not merely hear the Word, but are effectual doers. Do not simply sing psalms with your mouth for display. You can collect yourself even in the marketplace and sing unto God with heedfulness in your heart, and He will hear. For what armed death against the world? One man’s eating from the tree. But Christ has brought in a superabundance of grace, not only to countervail the wound, but to give health, and beauty, and honor, and dignity far transcending our natural state. Do not then hesitate as you see so great a store of blessings, nor seek how the spark of death is done away when such a sea of gifts is brought in upon it.

You rebuke sickness and evil, and you should. Yet do not be so eager to be busy about the sins of the devil and the world that you neglect to be busy about your own good works and the good works of others. Let the memory of your negligences wound you each day as a goad, to lead you to humility and greater diligence. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace. Do not run back to old securities, trusting in your long prayer as if it were a sacrifice to deliver you. The servant has no power; it is the Son who makes free.

Continue to crave the sincere milk of the Word, yes, but do not suppose that hearing alone will profit you. How many have heard ten times and remained insensible, yet at one hearing later have been converted? The tree that does not fall at ten strokes may be brought down by one, but that single blow succeeds because of all the ones before. Your repetition of these verses can either soften the ground of your heart or harden it through vain familiarity. Do not let your mind be an anvil struck repeatedly but never shaped. Let the Word dwell in you richly, that you may be transformed by the renewing of your mind, having the mind of Christ.

As for your asking for grace for the Jew first, and also for the Greek, remember that this "first" is an honor in time, not a greater measure of grace. The same gift is bestowed whether one comes early or late to the baptism. Whether you are Scythian or barbarian, no sooner have you received the word concerning the Cross and been baptized, than you have blotted out all. So do not think that the length or detail of your petition will secure a greater share. Grace has appeared to all who receive it. Your duty, and the duty of those elders for whom you pray, is not to amass words but to walk worthily of this calling. I desire not merely that your loved ones be healed in body and prosper, but that they, and you, be set free from the disease of sin, and lay hold on eternal life. This is the work of grace: to deliver us from worldly things and lead us to Heaven. To that end, may your busyness be fixed not on the things of this fleeting life alone, but on those good things to come, through the grace and love toward man of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to speak directly to the heart behind this prayer, because you are clearly longing for the wholeness that God alone can give, health in body, renewal in your thinking, and blessing upon those you honor as father and mother. You have laid out a sweeping vision of what Scripture promises, and that is good. But let me press a few things home from the Word that can steady you as you wait.

You ask for healing, and we stand firmly on God’s power to heal. Yet remember that our Lord’s deliverance takes more than one shape. The apostle knew that the Lord had delivered him from every evil work and would bring him safely into the heavenly kingdom, even when a man named Alexander did him much harm. That deliverance did not always mean immediate escape from trouble or a sudden reversal of sickness. Sometimes it meant being kept through the trouble for a greater reward. So I would encourage you to trust God’s wisdom in how He delivers the ones you love. He may heal their bodies instantly; He may use means and time; He may, for a season, give them grace to endure while their souls prosper in ways that outshine mere physical relief. True deliverance is always from evil, and His eye is on the righteous, His ear open to their cry.

You also lift up the command to honor parents, and I sense you take seriously the promise that goes with it. Honor is not blind; it is to be given in the Lord. That means when a parent asks what contradicts God’s Word or calls for what is ungodly, a child must obey God rather than men. Some parents have neglected their own calling and left deep wounds, and many children bear the weight of that. The sins of parents do visit their children, not because God is unfair, but because the natural consequences of brokenness flow down generations. Yet the gospel breaks that chain. In Christ, you are not doomed to repeat what was broken in your upbringing. The mind can be renewed, the patterns interrupted. You pray for your parents, and that is right, but also pray for yourself, that any residue of their failures would be washed away by the truth, that you would not return evil for evil or hold onto bitterness, but instead show pity and courtesy, even when it is hard.

You mentioned fresh truths and a craving for the Word. I rejoice in that. But be cautious about chasing novelty. All Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction. The appetite you need is for the pure milk of the Word itself, not for some new spiritual sensation. When the mind is crammed with junk from the world, it needs to be cleansed with the water of God’s truth. That means returning again and again to the foundational doctrines, not because they are elementary in the sense of being left behind, but because they are the solid food that makes us stable. The man who builds his life on them is like a prudent man who sees evil ahead and hides himself in the provision God has made in Christ.

You ask for protection from evil people and from the evil one. Jesus taught us to pray, “Deliver us from evil,” and that prayer is never wasted. But do not be surprised when the world reviles you or when false witnesses rise up. The Scripture says evil men and seducers will grow worse, deceiving and being deceived. So keep your own tongue from guile and slander; let your lips speak truth, not deceit. The righteous are not called to fret because of evildoers; their end is certain. In the meantime, pursue peace. Do good. Show the kindness and tenderheartedness of forgiveness, just as God in Christ has forgiven you.

You are praying for patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and you include yourself. That is humble. But do not think that the promise of long life and well-being is a matter of merely reciting the right verses. It is bound up with a life that actually honors God and then naturally flows into honoring the parental relationships He established. Where those relationships were twisted, you can still honor the position while grieving the failure, and you can trust the Lord to be the Father to the fatherless.

Finally, let the mind you seek be the mind of Christ. That mind is not formed by chasing signs or trying to command miraculous outcomes, but by letting the Word dwell in you richly, by meditating on it day and night, and by doing it. Then your joy will be full, not because every earthly circumstance is fixed, but because you are rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

The Lord Himself will deliver you and those you love from every evil work and preserve you for His heavenly kingdom. Keep asking, keep trusting, and keep returning to the Scriptures that are able to make you wise for salvation.
