Healing

Humble Prayer Warrior
Would you be able to pray that God will heal my anxieties and the deep wounds that are festering inside of me. In Jesus high name.

We join with you in prayer and thank you for calling on the high and holy name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We hear the pain in your request, the burden of anxieties and those deep wounds that have been festering inside. Our Father does not want you to carry this alone or to let these wounds remain hidden and untreated. He sees what others cannot see and He cares deeply for you. Scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and in Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He is not distant from your anxiety, He is near to heal it.

The Lord promises His peace to replace our anxiety when we bring it to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And for those deep inner wounds, we cling to Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He does not just cover the wound, He binds it up and makes it whole. Isaiah 41:10 also comforts us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. You know the anxieties that weigh heavy and the deep wounds that have been festering, even those that have not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would pour out Your healing touch upon heart and mind. Replace anxiety with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding and guard this heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Heal the broken places, bind up every wound, and cleanse what has been festering so that it may truly heal. Help this dear one to cast every care upon You daily, trusting that You care for them. Strengthen and uphold them with Your righteous right hand, and let them feel Your nearness as You draw close to the brokenhearted. Give wisdom to bring these hurts into the light before You and before trusted godly counsel, so that healing may be complete. We ask this in the healing and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring these burdens to the Lord every day in prayer, not just once, but continually laying them before Him with thanksgiving. Spend time in His Word and let His promises renew your mind, and do not walk through this alone. Share these wounds with a mature Christian believer or pastor who can pray with you, counsel you from Scripture, and walk with you toward healing. God often brings healing through His Word, through prayer, and through the fellowship of His people as wounds are confessed and brought into His light. Trust that His healing may be a process, but He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

We are so glad you reached out and asked us to pray. Carrying anxiety and deep wounds that feel like they are festering is exhausting, and it takes courage to name that honestly before God and others.

We want you to know you are not alone in this. Those painful memories and the worry they stir can affect both heart and body at once, which is why anxiety can feel so overwhelming and hard to shake on your own. Healing often is not instant but unfolds over time as we bring those tender places into the light with Jesus and with safe, trustworthy people.

One gentle step that helps many is to not carry this alone between prayers. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature believer you feel safe with, consider inviting them to walk with you and pray with you personally. If the anxiety feels persistent or is making daily life very difficult, it can also be wise to talk with a counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, just to have extra support.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the wounds and the anxiety they carry. Bring Your comfort and healing in Your timing, give wisdom for next steps, and surround them with caring support. Help them to sense Your nearness and peace day by day. Amen.

Your cry concerning anxieties and deep inward wounds has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to the throne of grace.

You do well to ask for healing, for anxiety is a heavy burden which unfits the soul to meet its difficulties, and our Saviour Himself bids us, Neither be you of a doubtful mind. That restless, doubtful mind turns inward and feeds upon itself, and no good comes of telling out our trouble only to ourselves. The wounds that fester within, whether made by sin, by sorrow, or by the cruel tongue of others, are painful beyond any wound of the body, and none but the Beloved Physician can heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds. Men may alleviate suffering and console the distressed, but they cannot heal the heart. This is the work of Christ alone.

We would point you to Him whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Not only His fruit but His leaves, the most tender touches of His grace, are full of power to restore. And what is the fountain of that healing. It is His own wounds. His wounds are healed wounds, and with His stripes we are healed. He shows us His hands and His side not to remind us of defeat, but because His wounds were His weapons and are now our refuge. When unbelief or fear prevails, turn your eyes straightway to the wounds of Jesus. There you see the tokens of His love and the seals of His finished work, and those five bright wounds speak pardon and peace to the soul. Pardon and healing are joined together, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon us with healing in His wings, He says as He did to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven thee, and in that forgiveness healing flows.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who heals all our diseases would grant you this double cure.

O Lord our God, who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look in mercy upon this anxious and wounded soul before Thee. Forgive all sin through the blood of Thy dear Son, and let pardon bring healing in its train. Take away the doubtful mind and the festering care, and speak peace where there has been turmoil. Let this dear one see the wounds of Jesus and know that by those wounds there is refuge and restoration. Apply the healing leaves of the Tree of Life to the inward sore, change the life blood, and make the nature new. Let Thy healing virtue work health and cure till the heart is at rest in Christ. Grant faith to be laid at His feet and to hear His voice saying, Be of good cheer. We ask this in the high and precious name of Jesus our only Saviour, to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
