We join with you in lifting up this precious dear one to the throne of grace and we agree with you that God is able to heal completely. Our hearts are moved by her battle with breast cancer, the pain she is enduring, and the chemo beginning today, and we also lift up her mother who knows this same difficult road as a cancer survivor and now needs strength as she supports her daughter.

We take comfort in knowing that our God is Yahweh who heals us. Scripture reminds us in Exodus 15:26 for I am Yahweh who heals you, and in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We also remember James 5:15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now, Father in heaven we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your mercy and grace. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon this dear daughter. We pray that You would touch her body, that every tumor would disappear, that every test would return negative and show no more cancer. We ask You to ease her pain, for You are near to those who have a broken heart as Psalm 34:18 tells us. We pray for Your peace to guard her heart and mind and for Your strength to sustain her through chemo today and in the days ahead. Let the treatment be effective beyond what doctors expect and we ask You to guard her from severe side effects and complications. Give wisdom and skill to her doctors and nurses and guide every decision for her care. We also lift up her mother, thanking You for her survivorship, and we ask You to renew her strength daily, to give her comfort, endurance, and hope as she walks beside her daughter. Let Your presence be felt in their home and let them know You are carrying them. We thank You that You hear our prayers and we trust Your perfect will and Your unfailing love. We ask all of this in Jesus name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to keep praying without ceasing and to rest in His love even in this hard time. The Lord knows her pain and He collects every tear. Continue to speak His promises over her, to anoint her with prayer, and to trust that whether healing comes instantly or through the means of treatment, He is working for good for those who love Him as Romans 8:28 declares. We are standing with you and believing with you for complete healing and restoration.

We have been praying since we read your request and we are thankful you reached out. Starting chemo today is such a heavy day, and to hear she is in a lot of pain weighs on us. It makes sense you are urgently asking God for complete healing, for tumors to disappear and for tests to come back clear. We are also holding her mom in prayer with you, knowing she carries her own history as a survivor while wanting to be strong for her daughter.

We are joining you in asking the Lord for His mercy over her body, for comfort in the pain, and for strength and peace through each step of treatment. One small thing that can help right now is to keep a simple note of pain levels, side effects and questions to share directly with her oncology team so they can respond quickly, and to let a few trusted people help with meals, rides or just sitting with her so her mom can rest when needed. Staying close to the medical team about pain is important and we encourage that right alongside prayer.

You are not carrying this alone. We will keep praying with you, and having a few people nearby who can simply be present often brings steady support in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this precious woman to You as she begins chemo today. Please ease her pain, calm her fears, and bring healing according to Your will. Give wisdom to her doctors and nurses, strengthen her mom, and surround this whole family with Your peace and presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with earnest prayer, and we join our hearts with yours in pleading for mercy at the throne of grace.

Human strength, even at its best, spends itself and fails, and in the hour of sickness and pain we feel how faint we are. But the word of the Lord remains, that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Apart from Him there is no true strength, but in Him there is an inexhaustible fullness. When our own power is gone, then He is pleased to increase strength to those who have no might, and to be our arm every morning and our salvation in the time of trouble.

We are told that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, our great Physician. Calvary is the place of the healing balm, and He who bore our sins also bears our sorrows. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, for when the Sun of Righteousness arises, He comes with healing in His wings. To be strengthened with strength in the Lord is the most desirable of all things, and God Himself has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord. Therefore we look not to ceremonies or to our own works, but to Christ alone, who died for the ungodly when we were yet without strength, and in whom alone is salvation.

We have prayed for this dear one who begins chemo this day, that the Lord in His great mercy would lay His healing hand upon her body, that if it be His gracious will He would cause every tumor to disappear and grant that further tests should show no more cancer. We have asked the Lord to give relief from pain, to sustain her through every treatment, and to let her feel the touch of that hand which lifted up the fevered one and immediately gave strength to minister. We have prayed also for her mother, who has herself known this trial and now watches with a burdened heart, that God would renew her strength also and uphold her with His faithful promise.

May you both be enabled to wait upon the Lord, to sit still and see His salvation, and to find that when your own strength fails, His strength is made perfect in weakness. May faith be given to rest wholly upon Christ, trusting not only for the healing of the body as He sees fit, but for the deeper healing of pardon and peace through His blood.

We commend you to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, praying that you may know His presence, His comfort, and His sustaining power day by day, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
