We join with you in bringing your little toe before the Lord, and we lift up you and your husband and your sisters and all your families to Him as well. We know He cares about every detail of our bodies and our lives, even what might seem small to others, and we thank Him that you are seeking care with the doctor today.

We pray together for your healing. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. We ask the Lord to touch your toe, to take away the redness and pain and any infection or inflammation, and to bring complete healing. We pray also for healing for you and your husband and your sisters and your families, wherever there is sickness, pain, or weariness. For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We pray that the Lord will guide the doctor today, giving wisdom and discernment, and that He will use this appointment for your good and His glory.

We also hear your heart crying out for peace and for sleep before this appointment, and for freedom from anxiety. We pray that the Lord will calm your heart and mind even now. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We cast all our worries on Him together, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We pray that He will grant you a couple of hours of deep and restful sleep, that you may lie down in peace. In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8. May He quiet your thoughts and fill you with His perfect peace as you rest and as you go to see the doctor.

We notice you called upon the Lord in your request and we are thankful for your faith, and we want to gently remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are made right with God and can come boldly before His throne with our needs. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You see our sister and her husband and her sisters and families and You know every need. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her little toe and take away the pain and redness and bring complete healing. We ask for Your healing presence over her body and over her husband and loved ones. We ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind and to take away all anxiety, and we ask that You grant her restful sleep before her appointment. We pray You will be with her as she sees the doctor today, give wisdom to the doctor and let Your healing and peace be evident. We trust You and thank You for Your care and mercy, and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

It can help to jot down when the redness and pain started, anything that makes it better or worse, and any questions you want to ask, so you do not have to remember everything when you are tired.

We join you in prayer and bring your needs before the Lord who is the great Physician of both body and soul.

We have heard your request for healing for your toe which is hurting and red, and for healing for yourself and your husband and your sisters and families, and for peace as you go to see the doctor today. We also hear your desire for freedom from anxiety and for a few hours of sleep before the appointment, and we take these burdens to the throne of grace.

Scripture tells us that the Lord heals and that with His stripes we are healed, for the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. There is healing virtue even in the leaves of the tree of life, and the least touch of Christ brings wholeness. We pray that the Lord in His mercy would touch your body, ease the pain and inflammation in your toe, and grant wisdom to the doctor you will see. We ask Him to lay His hand upon your household and your sisters and their families, to keep you all in His care and to restore strength where it is needed.

You ask also for peace and sleep, and we are reminded that so He giveth His beloved sleep. That sleep is the gift of a quiet conscience and a mind stayed upon God. The promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when duties press and sorrows surge around. True peace is not the false calm that the world gives, but the peace of God which passeth all understanding, flowing from full atonement through the blood that cannot lie.

Anxiety unfits us for the trial, but trust fits us to meet it. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Tell the Lord about the appointment, about the weariness and the waiting, and ask Him to breathe into your soul even now that peace which comes from perfect remission and from knowing you are kept in Jesus.

So we pray, Father in heaven, look upon this dear one and her loved ones. Forgive sin through the precious blood of Christ and grant healing according to Thy perfect will. Touch the toe and remove the pain and redness, guide the hands and eyes of the doctor, and let this visit be for good. Bless this husband and sisters and families, keep them in health and in faith. Give quietness of heart, remove anxiety, and grant a few hours of sweet and refreshing sleep, for Thou givest Thy beloved sleep. Let Thy perfect peace keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and cause this child of Thine to rest contented in Thy will. In the name of Jesus our only Savior and Prince of Peace we ask it, Amen.
