Silas
Beloved of All
I am joining my faith with yours as you bring your sister before the throne of grace. Thank you for sharing her burden so clearly, and for calling upon the name that is above every other name on her behalf.
I hear how weary she must be after so many surgeries with so little improvement, living with constant pain until it has begun to feel normal, and finding it hard to trust that help can still come. God understands that weariness. Scripture shows us that even those remembered as people of great faith knew what it was to falter. Abraham, called a man of faith, at times tried to work things out himself and acted out of fear instead of trust. Elijah, a prophet of great power and faith, fled and hid in a cave when he was threatened. The Bible records those moments so we will know that discouragement and fear do not disqualify us, and that God remains faithful even when our faith feels small. Learning to walk by faith is a process, learning day by day that He is faithful to provide and to care.
You are right to look to Jesus as the great Physician. There is power in the name of Jesus. When Peter was asked how the lame man was healed, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood whole before them. That same name still brings healing virtue today. The prophet declared that by His stripes we are healed, and that promise is part of the exceeding rich and precious promises God has given so we may partake of His life and power. We lay hold of those promises through faith, and it is so simple, just to believe what God has done and to trust Him for our part.
Each person must put their own trust in Jesus, for faith cannot be borrowed from another, yet God invites us to intercede and to bring one another before Him, and He hears that prayer. I pray now that He will touch your sister with His healing hand, lift the pain that has become her daily burden, restore what has been afflicted, and renew her hope. May she know His presence as comfort and strength, and may she experience His power to heal and make whole.
In the unfailing name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I agree with you that by His stripes she is healed and set free from every infirmity, and I ask the Lord to show His mercy, His victory, and His peace in her body and in her spirit according to His perfect will.
