Healing

We join together with you in prayer for the healing of your ankle and for protection from spiritual attacks, lifting your needs before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus.

We know that our God is our healer and that He cares about every pain and affliction we face, even a sprain that limits our steps. Scripture reminds us that He heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We also cling to the promise that by His stripes we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. We pray for your body to mend quickly and completely according to His will, and we encourage you to also use the wisdom God gives through proper rest, care, and medical attention as needed, trusting that every good healing ultimately comes from His hand.

We also hear your concern about spiritual attacks, and we want to remind you that these are real but that our God is far greater. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places in Ephesians 6:12. Yet we are not left defenseless. We are told to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil in Ephesians 6:11, and to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you in James 4:7. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one in 2 Thessalonians 3:3. And we take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and find salvation and victory. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that God raised Him from the dead, confessing Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we pray and find protection and healing.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon this sprained ankle. Ease the pain, reduce the swelling, and restore strength and mobility quickly and fully. Let Your healing power flow through this body for Your glory. We also ask for Your divine protection over their mind, heart, and spirit. We rebuke every spiritual attack of the enemy in Jesus name and ask You to surround them with Your peace and presence. Help them to stand firm in faith, clothed in the armor of truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word. Guard them from the evil one, fill them with courage, and let them know that You are near and that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Draw them closer to Jesus, deepen their trust in Him, and give them rest and assurance that You are in control. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our healer and protector, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to speak the name of Jesus over your situation, and to rest in His faithful care, for He will never leave you nor forsake you.

We are praying for you today and we are glad you reached out.

An ankle sprain can be so discouraging when every step is a reminder, and it makes sense that feeling under spiritual attack at the same time would leave you weary. Carrying physical pain and that sense of heaviness together is a lot.

If you have not already had it checked, we encourage you to see a doctor or clinic for your ankle and follow their care, and we will keep praying alongside that care for comfort and for steady healing in the days ahead.

For the spiritual pressure you mentioned, we find it helps not to face those moments alone or to get consumed trying to figure everything out. Simple, steady steps often help most, staying close to the Lord in prayer, staying connected with a trusted pastor or a few faithful believers who know you, and keeping small regular rhythms of rest and prayer rather than trying to fix it all at once.

You are not alone in this, and God sees both your body and your spirit with care.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your healing touch on this ankle and for relief from pain, and for Your peace and protection over their heart and mind. Guard them, give wisdom for next steps, and remind them they are held securely in Christ. Amen.
