We have received your request and join you in bringing your dear friend before the Lord with compassion and hope.
We will keep her in our prayers, asking our merciful Father to grant her complete healing if it be His will, to lessen her suffering, to give strength to her body and peace to her heart, and to guide the hands and wisdom of those who care for her. We also pray for you and for all who love her, that you may be comforted and strengthened as you stand beside her in love.
Prayer is a great weapon and a source of security for each day, and we need it both early and by night as we face the storms and trials of this life. It is good to enjoy the prayers of others, and we do not pray alone but together, crying out for mercy as those who know their need. We trust that God hears us always, and that He draws near when we call upon Him with faith.
Let us pray together: Father in heaven, we thank You that You hear us when we call. Look with compassion upon this Your daughter who suffers from cancer. Touch her with Your healing hand, grant her relief from pain, restore her health according to Your perfect will, and fill her with courage and hope. Grant wisdom to her doctors, comfort to her family and friends, and let Your presence be near to all who are anxious for her. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our healer and our hope. Amen.
